Anyone using hi toe big foot ?

Whoa! Very impressed with a bucket of balls. Will give it more time as honeymoon period hasn’t even started yet but had a 60° big foot for two weeks and haven’t been able to hit it because of such bad weather here in Nashville of late. We got a ton of rain this weekend and early Monday morning but i couldn’t stand it and went to the range to hit some knowing it would be utterly nasty. But those are the conditions inbound it for. Well, not this nasty but wet conditions.

the course was closed because of standing water but the range was open. Totally gross. But went to the practice green and was amazed at the wedge. I had PM grind wedges that I loved in firmer conditions but when it was soft, i was so inconsistent around greens because i would dig far too often. I still thought in these awful conditions it would still dig some but it did not. From around the green to about 50 yards no matter how soggy the lie, it performed consistently. Feels good. Even took it to the practice bunker that was half full of water. I suck out of the sand. Imma 7.2 HC and play like a 20 out of the sand. Hard sand , I’m even worse as I skull them 100 yards far too often. I couldn’t believe this wedge from green side how it got up in the air and landed soft. Squared the wedge and tried opening slightly and both worked well. Didn’t have the stomach to try to open it a lot. Maybe in super soft sand.

this thing, at least in wet rough, wet tight lies, wet sand Was pretty great. More to come when i can play or see drier conditions.

As someone who plays clubs at +1/2", the issue with the BF is that TM have changed the specs to 1/4" shorter than the ATV Hi Toe (and rest of HT range) so even without a tip weight it came back at D9 with a Modus 120s built at +0.75" to blend in with my 56 at +.05". I just switched out the shaft for a Shimada tour wedge shaft, which is similar raw weight but far more counter balanced and that gave me back 2.5 sw points. Will be interesting to see how it plays, have heard a lot of good things about the Shimada line.

Been playing the hi-toe 60 with the ATV grind for the last year and that’s a long time for me. Mainly use it out of bunkers and to elevated greens. Anyone have any comparison of standard hi-toe vs big foot?

Only got to use the big foot a few times now but it does exactly what I needed it for. Doesn’t dig at all, no matter the lie. My PM grind do dig, quite a bit in wet conditions. I’ll hold on to them for hard summer surfaces.

I was debating on the regular 60° hi toe vs the big foot but so far loving the big foot.

I was struggling with bunker shots so I got one 60 BF but don't need it anymore. 58deg works magic now.

The big foot is magic out of bunkers....if you struggle. Don’t need to open face. Just swing.

I loved the 58 hi toe big foot in a fitting at Tmade head offices in Canada, 2 flat was key

re comment above on square face from traps. Down in FL now and using my PM grind square set up - which as a wide open face guy feels weird - and it is sooooooooo easy from firm or fluffy sand

I picked up a 60. degree. Great out of bunker as expected, but was shocked how good it performs from tight lies.

Gaming a 58* Big Foot for a few months now. This is like cheating. Automatic out of the bunkers and, even with all the bounce, excellent around the greens. Can't remember the last time I've been as excited with a wedge as I am with the Big Foot.

I have a 60°. It is like magic for me in bunkers. I have been so scared as i so often skull one. My old 58° was the only club I could 40 yards to 200 yards in the bag.

I will say I have struggled a little with it on harder lies. Soft lies have been money. I just need more practice with it. I chip so much with my 54° Glide3.0 that I don't use the 60° hi toe for much. Need to practice.
