Pro V1x has the highest trajectory and highest iron and wedge spin.

 

Pro V1 has a "boring" trajectory and similar but slightly lower iron and wedge spin than Pro V1x.

 

AVX has the lowest trajectory and lowest iron and wedge spin of any Titleist urethane ball.

 

There will be a special order "Left Dash Pro V1x" available soon which has the high trajectory of the regular Pro V1x but with lower spin, although not as low spin as AVX.

Love the feel of the 2019 Pro V1's. Typically play Z star however.

You are right. Titleist kind of reversed trajectory of both balls. In my opinion it's qualified though. All things equal, ProV1x became a higher trajectory ball and ProV1 a lower trajectory ball. They claimed ProV1 has a bit more distance too. They also said anyone can play either ball. Not sure that's true for all though. For me, ProV1x still spins the best around fast greens, I can even spin it back 2-5 feet. It's little brother likes to bounce and run-out more, harder to spin back. Like so much in life, I look at consistency and want to trust MY choice in ball behaves a certain way. Reason I play these two balls. Historically, I play ProV1x the most because of how it behaves in the heat.
