Coming in next weekend from FL and need a place to play. Probably not up for the $100 at Virtues. Also up for playing with anyone that would want to join on Friday.

Make the trip to Darby Creek. It is IMO the best course for the best price around Columbus.

Sign up for the Virtues email/newsletters - they run deals all of the time. Denison is rounding into great shape, though, like every course, it's been really wet. Hopefully next week we get out of this rainy pattern.

    1 Virtues

#2 apple valley in Howard Ohio

    #3 North Star

    #4 Cumberland trails

#5 chapel hills in mt Vernon tied with champions golf course

I'm pretty fortunate living in Mt Vernon because i'm 10 minutes from Chapel Hill and Apple Valley and 30 minutes from Virtues. The Virtues is my favorite layout but you wont find a better course in central Ohio than Apple Valley. The greens and fairways are always immaculate.

Funny I live the opposite 15 to Virtues and 30 to Chapel Hill

I still think New Albany Links is underrated. And Champions is one **** of a layout, though sidearms aren't a bad idea there.

We are lucky to have so many good golf courses in our area. Even some mom and pop , out of the way courses that aren’t in pristine condition can be fun to play for under $30. On a weekend with a cart

My friends and I are looking to play a round the weekend of Oct 19th. We will be in New Albany. Any suggestions of courses that are in great shape this time of year? Thanks.

Denison has been in spectacular shape of late. The greens last week were the hardest I can ever remember - fast and firm. New Albany Links and Clover Valley may be good options also but I haven't played either recently.

I'll give Denison another vote. Definitely top 3 in the area.
