Long story short, I am still digging my Ecco Biom Hybrid 2s. Awesome spikeless shoe and maybe my favorite kicker to date.

Lots of new goods are coming at the PGA show. I’m looking mostly at the Tour X but have heard that FJs break down a little fast.

Im gonna be rotating shoes so I don’t expect it to happen too fast but wouldn’t mind your guys inputs for favorite current spiked golf shoes.

I play in SOCAL so think hard turf, dry and hard greens. I’m not against a dry knit style shoe but like the waterproof a little more for my summer rounds elsewhere in the states.

I’m a big fan of FJ Fury. Fit my brick shaped foot great and stand up to use well.

I really like the two pairs of FJ Tour-S shoes that I bought last year (one BOA, one laced). I have a problem with a spot the bottom of one of my feet and many spiked shoes put uncomfortable pressure on that spot. I don't know if it's the "pods" to which the spikes are attached or the fact that the sole of shoe is widened at the ball of the foot to allow the spikes to located further towards the outside of each foot (or something else), but the Tour-S shoes are the only spiked shoe that I've worn that doesn't put painful pressure on my "bad" foot.

It appears that the sole of the Tour-X is pretty similar to that of the Tour-S. If I were in the market for a new pair of spikes, the Tour-X would definitely be at the top of my list.

Thanks for the input. I’m looking forward to trying a few pairs on and sending some balls down range. Not looking to break the bank or anything but want to ensure I’m getting out of it what I want.

as weird as the request is, I wear minimalist shoes all day, every day. I had the project Ms, Ecco Biom zero and a couple others but all were spikeless. I’m hoping to get a lower riding shoe just for that reason.
