Golf brush that does not destroy towel?

If the problem you are having is from the metal bristled side, just remove the metal bristles. I used to have the issue of not so much destroying towels but always getting snagged. I have a bunch of the two sided brushes laying around from goodie bags and give aways at golf tournaments and shows so I don't have to buy brushes. I just take a decent sized set of pliers and grab the metal bristles (one holes worth at a time - don't try to do too many at once) with the pliers and yank them out. I never have used the metal side of the brushes because i always felt they were too harsh.

grab a set of these, OXO brushes, about six dollars. if your bag has a sharpie sleeve, one will slide right in.

I keep one in the ball pocket.

Would plus one the groove it...but don't try to use the magnet...I've had mine returned to me by others multiple times already.  Expensive to lose...otherwise I just got some fingernail brushes...work just fine. And 3 for $5.  

 

I specifically use these items rather than towel/tee now because the new ping grooves are smaller with more of them...pita to clean.

I'm all for functionality, but also want it to look nice. I wonder if the "groove it brush" or "groove tube" or "caddy splash" (they're all the same right?) looks clunky on your bag? Also, does it ever leak in your trunk?

Yeah it's pretty much a perfect product. I couldn't really ask for anything else. I used to carry a wet towel and those retractable frogger brushes but no need anymore and the fact that its a magnet to grab quick and put back is awesome.

I bought their brush and really like it. I was expensive, but it fit a need I had.

Second (or 3rd) for the dimple and divot brushes. Little spendy for a brush, but very high quality with a good look.

I actually ordered these same brushes and drilled a hole in the handle of the larger one and attached it to a retractable key ring which I then attached to the bag. I also carry a small spray bottle with water in case that is needed at any point. The result is very inexpensive and very functional.

For me, main hangup on double-sided brush comes from metal bristles. I just take pliers, pull out the metal half of the bristles, and then just use the acrylic. I worry about someone getting too brutal using metal side on clubs.
