I’ve posted about this in past winters.. usually I play on Christmas EVE ... my birthday .. as punishment for getting older

was fortunate to have @DanDrake with me this year. Apparently, I really needed a “young” pro ripping tee balls past me to amplify the emasculation

WD is the longest course in Florida, 7800 yards, and let me tell you, in 20mph winds the into the wind holes (ie 500 yard par 4’s) are brutal for a 52 year old. Even on 480 yard downfan holes the goal was to get to the 200 post. Sea level is a real pig and drag on the ego

the course had a little run this year - but not the 30 + yards i get at home - so I hit some greens in Reg... but because that can be an 80 foot putt - on Bermuda - on such massive surfaces, there was regrettably a handful of 3 jiggies on my card

give this course a shot if you get to the Panhandle, it’s a wide open links style layout unlike anything else in the area. Grip it and rip it.

just wanted to thank Dan and make some Mavrik comments ... I hit his driver maybe 6 times. Sub zero ... AD BB 6x

great feel and solid muted sound

adjustability really changes ball flight

for a better review I need to hit the non sub zero in a heavier swing weight and a longer shaft ... maybe will do that in next 14 days

Just came here to say that I love windswept dunes. My family plays there about once a year when we travel down to Rosemary Beach. Good value for the playing conditions. I did not realize it was that long though! We must play up a tee or two.

PS glad your buddy is liking the new stick
