You got me thinking about the most famous or iconic putter in golf. Tiger's single Cherry Bomb Scotty has to be up there. I'd say the only other more famous was Bobby Jones's Calamity Jane, probably because it had a name.

Doubt if any of the sims would make into his bag. Looks like they are just there to promo the new line. Tiger would have 2mths or so in testing the sims. He would have made the switch if they are clearly better.

I agree, got people on the forum with $50,000 in shiny new circle t putters that can’t play worth a lick and yet here is Tiger with his trusty old beat up putter. A lot of really good putters are same way, Stricker uses some old beat up odyssey.

I’m of the opinion he’s tested a lot of “identical” heads and shafts and the 12 & 14 are just Identification stickers so they can them apart.

Aloha! He's never had a gap wedge, his PW is 49* and SW at 56*(no clue if it is slightly stronger or not). My guess is that he is more comfortable with those two clubs and 60*. Tiger is pretty good at finessing his PW to his desired yardage.

These guys are pretty picky once they find one they like, weight balance etc. Little cosmetic issues don't matter to them.

Regarding Strickers old beat up odyssey, believe he recently did get the insert replaced with the same old white hot insert only to keep the integrity of the putter face. Inserts can get compromised overtime I would imagine.

ya, really no need to bridge the gap of a 7 degree loft difference. Around the greens you'll see him deloft his wedges by putting the ball fairly back in his stance. A master at using his tools in more than one way, which opens up a spot to add a 2 iron or 5 wood at the top end.

That's not tee marks, it's scratched from how many times they have moved his weight set up to get it where he likes it. The screw rubs the track line.
