Holderness and Bourne

Who out there has been wearing Holderness and Bourne and how have you liked it? How would it compare to Peter Millar? I have no experience with them but checking their stuff out online it looks great. Thanks.

Got a few. Like them ok. Not crazy about where they place the tag in the back of the shirt. Itches my neck at times.

Excellent product. Slightly more fitted than PM thru the large, similar to PM in XL and XXL. Best collar in golf.

I have a couple of the Sutton shirts and 1 of the Maxwells. I wear a Medium and really like the fit, which is more of an athletic/slim fit where it's more fitted at the waist so there's no "boxiness" to it. They say they get progressively roomier at the waist as the sizes get larger, but I don't have any experience with the larger sizes. I'd say it's way more fitted than a PM Summer Comfort in the same size. It's probably most similar in fit to my Under Armour golf polos.

The material in the Sutton reminds me of PM or RLX. The Maxwell is their pique knit, which I end up wearing more off the course than on.

If you like the styling, I think they are great shirts. I think they have a sale maybe once or twice a year.

I'm not a fan of H&B. I had high expectations but I like PM better. I have a long torso so the H&B just doesn't seem to want to stay tucked in. I do like the colors, cut of the shirt, I just didn't feel they had the same soft hand feel of PM.

I have been wearing H&B belts for the past year. They are great, clothing looks great too but I don't wear it.

H&B is pretty good in my mind, but sizing is kinda tricky.  I am tall and thin and large polos almost are too tight, think crown crafted PM.  But their Ward sweater only fits in large, the XL was way too baggy.  I think like any brand some mixing and matching might need to be done with sizing.  I think overall they are more fitted for sure.

I just received my three H&B shirts.  I ordered a Perkins, Campbell, and Maxwell shirt. First impressions after opening and trying on:

• The Perkins & Campbell feel like the exact same shirt.  Very soft. Very light.
• The Maxwell is a bit different material. Feels like a soft jersey material. Very light.
• All have sewn in stay collars which makes the collars look great. Love that.
• Sleeve length only goes about half way down my bicep which I like.
• Overall fit is basically identical to the Peter Millar Crown Crafted line. I would not classify them is 'form fitting', but they are definitely not a 'boxy' or 'loose' fit at all. The tags all say tailored fit.

I am happy with the shirts. I wish they fit a little tighter, especially around the sleeves, but I guess that just means I've got some bicep curls to do all winter.  I anticipate keeping all three since they fit a color pattern I don't have, the shirt quality is very nice, and the stay collars really make them look sharp.
