I won't be on said line, and doubt I'll be at the opening, as I can't really deal with a circus for a chance of a free towel or something like that. But looking forward to the store opening already...

I hear ya, based on past openings they give away a bunch of clubs, clothing, and stuff like that. If I were more local I would provide some intel on the matter. I was debating on showing up an hour early but it isn't worth the hour drive for a $25 promo card with a long list of exclusions.

I will be there as early as I can be. Perhaps by 9. I figure if I score a free sleeve of balls, it's a win. Plus, it's just something else to do. Football is over, so now on to golf. Been a long 3 months.

There was a line for giveaway folks and general customers were able to walk right in at opening. I got at 8:30 and the line wrapped around to the back of the building. They had a heated tent for the overnight crowd.

I concur about the line. And from what I heard, the giveaways were nothing special.

 

I bought a new 56 degree wedge, 2 PGA tour golf shirts and 50 proV1s for $109. Not a bad haul.

And they gave me 20$ off which means I still have my 20$ off they emailed me to use.

They are smaller than the Paramus store, and it's pretty obvious by how many less practice bays there are. I want to say there were only 4 of them?

I just got back from the opening. Gotta say... RIP Golf Galaxy, they pretty much stand no chance of keeping that store open long term unless they change and do something different.

And from the guy above... yes I think it was 4 practice bays and then 4 "demo" bays, and then 2 fitting bays. The green is smaller but they still seem to have just about the same selection of putters, even all the cool niche ones like the Directed Force, Seemore, etc.

Got there at 615 am. Was around 70th in line and got sunglasses for $180 that I’m gonna return for store credit. The store is awesome. Hitting bays were cool and the fitting bays looked unreal
