Gapr Lo as a replacement for my 5 wood in windy conditions. Had good numbers on the monitor, but absolutely zero feel. I'm not sure if it was the shaft or what. Sold almost immediately and learned a 3 wood stinger.

Had a Tm R7 Quad nice but a bit stiff.Xmas 3 years ago prolaunch blue65 on special.Installed.I ruined a quite good club..it just didnt work..so pulled..into G5..worked ok a year ago at end off our summer.This summer slower swing so never worked...just pulled it and shafted up in Nike Vr S 3 wood to use today. Thats my WRX clubs/shafts Live On journey☺

Got a full fitting for Mizuno 919 forgeds. Only time I've ever payed full retail on a set of irons. Felt great at the fitting. Received them and just never could dial them in. Hated the feel, and the control. I'd feel like I hit them great, and be 15 yards short and then do the exact opposite on a crappy feeling shot. I did find my proper shaft though. Just put them on the Bay this week.

Callaway ‘19 Apex pros. Great on the launch monitor, but once I got on the course I did not have much distance control. Was going to try the pro dots but then decided on the mp20 MMCs and have been very happy. There’s been a lot more, but the Apex were the most recent.

Vodka based swing oil. You just can't replace Bourbon swing oil.

for me, that one depends on air temperature. Now here in Illinois, bourbon swing oil is much better early spring and fall. While in the summer the lighter weight vodka with a touch of lemonade or lemon lime soda is wonderful. But one of my playing partners literally drinks bourbon of of a plastic cup with no ice, year round. Even if it’s 100 degrees out. True professional he is.

Taylormade P790s. Tried to convince myself the game would be easier by switching to the P790s, quickly realized my swing has been built for little to no offset and all the P790s made easier was turning my stock draw into a hook.

Also paid a ridiculous sum of money for a tour issue P790 UDI only for Taylormade to release it to the public a month later.

Cobra F9 driver. Bought the tour 5 wood and loved it so much I replaced my Rogue Sub Zero with the F9 driver. Huge mistake. Probably lost 20 yards off the tee and could never get the spin down. Tried multiple heads, hot melt, you name it. Bought into the hype and was just never a good fit.

Cobra F9. Had been a fan of earlier versions but the F9 just didn’t do it for me.

Was given a driver and fitting from a top 100 fitter. Done on a short range with limited flight balls. No TMan, a Foresight that measured what the shaft was doing. Only had Adams heads, but a jillion shafts. At 64 with a bad neck, ss probably less than 90, I was fit into a Super LS with a $300.00 TOUR STIFF shaft. Could not play it at all, and away from the range nerf balls, it sounded like a plate dropped on a tile floor. The shaft the guy told me was perfect was not set up to try in the only brand of heads he had. Been very skeptical of fitting ever since.
