I'm going to keep my eye on the weather Monday?? I may take day off if it's not raining and find a place to play...check back Monday morning if weather permits and maybe get out somewhere.
Actually Sunday looks decent but, working Sat/Sun till 3:00 so I'm out for that.
Early Monday close to me is possible. Plum Creek will be open
If you go to the run, make a tee time!
transform, and instill confidence in young men through the life lessons
learned from the game of golf."
Actually, Pleasant Run will be closed but Sara Shank will be open. Again, I'd call for a tee time. Courses will be crazy busy Sun and Mon.
Anyone for Plum Creek Monday morning?
What time you thinking?
Sorry dude's, no-can-do.
Looks like i am going to be out for both today and tomorrow. I'd love to get out, but work is busier that I'd like.
We could start thinking of a date for the annual PR round as well. I know it depends on the weather, but some advanced notice would make my schedule easier.
PR is closed until Spring. Run by the same family, they're pushing play to Sarah Shank.
I’m thinking Saturday the 22nd for our winter round. No clue on weather yet, but I’ve got the day free
Daughter's getting married that day. What's our tee time?
It sounds like that day isn’t going to work for anyone. We’ll try again.
Things are getting interesting. Any course closures? Guess I'll need to put my push cart to use.
None around here that I know of... but my course has not opened yet so it may be closed for health reasons and I don't know it! lol
I just got the weekly email from the Legends in Franklin and it says that they are still open for play until or unless told otherwise by government or health officials.
Fishers just banned travel for unnecessary reasons. Wonder if the Mayor/cops think golf is as necessary as the rest of us.
Anyone want to try to play wednesday?
I'm out for Wednesday. I guess most courses are still open, just walking only?
We are playing at Eagle creek tomorrow around 11. They said they are open and don't plan on closing for a few weeks evidently.
Pleasant Run in Indy is open and allowing carts.
Regarding the governors executive order 20-08, section 7.c "For Outdoor Activity"... Individuals may go to public parks and open outdoor recreation areas."
Yes, I have the order and have read it.
Pretty good mix of courses that are walking only vs single rider in a cart. Some also want book/pay in advance online or over the phone since you can't go inside, others have a window open.
Wife vetoed my play given my health issues that could make this thing worse if I were to get it. So I don't know when I'll be able to get out, but at some point I hope to. I haven't been past the end of my driveway in 2 weeks, I need to do something. We're supposed to close the sale of our house on the 30th and move into our new place on the 10th of April. Not sure if that is gonna happen either 😔
Hang in there, Doc. We'll be hitting Harbor Links before you know it. The "curve" should start to subside next week. We're close!
Anyone want to play this coming week?
Kind of been doing the solitary bass fishing thing during this C-19 outbreak. Have taken my son to a couple state parks just to get him out of the house. Probably going to stay off the golf courses for a while...don't want to give/get anything while working in the hospital everyday?? May take Quinn out to Hartley Hills or Tri County if it gets nice and dry?
Let you know if I get too stir crazy cause the weather looks good at the end of the week.
