Not sure where to bring this up, but my signature is double spacing when I try to amend it. Not a big deal, but is there a way to re-format it?

My signature code also is double spaced cant figure out how to change it!

Did you just enter it ? Or was it there from the previous board ?

If the latter, you might try this - go to edit it, take out all the characters between each line so that it all runs together.

Then place the cursor where you want to separate each line and hit the "Enter", or "Return" or "New line" (or whatever) to put the next line ON a new line and try to save that.

Worth a try.

If it doesn't work, as above, shoot "Buzzkill" a message and presumably he'll take care of it.

Thanks but that doesn't appear work either. I even tried editing it in Word and adjusting the line spacing but it went back to the double-spacing.

I had my bag up as well, but had the same issue so I deleted it.

As Gxgolfer posted above .... Use a plain text editor, text or notepad, and ensure there is no web html code in it.

I used this free on line Notepad program ..... https://www.rapidtables.com/tools/notepad.html

Click on your "Profile"

Click - "Edit Profile" - on the right - six down click "Signature Settings"

Copy your Signature into the NotePad program identified above.

It will correct your double line spacing then Copy & Paste it back into your Signature Profile

Don't forget to click on the Save Button.

I am using Notepad in Windows 10 and have the same problem?

Cannot get rid of the double spacing...... Notepad shows single space, but copying it into the sig and it then shows double...ugh!

Here is what I see in Notepad......I copy this and place in signature and get double spacing???

I have removed boldface and saved as regular text, but the same?????

Also tried a different browser...Chrome instead of Edge...same issue.

Let's try an experiment.

Go to edit your profile, click as shown in the attached, take a picture of it and let's see what it looks like.

Wow. I can only think it's a browser issue. Those are the editor settings I see when I try to edit the sig..

You mentioned Windows 10 and you mentioned Chrome.

Is that the setup you used with this last picture you posted ?

Yes, Windows 10 Pro....Checked with both Edge and Chrome....no change.

Tried Dolphin on mobile...same.

Have you logged out of the site lately ?

Perhaps try logging off and logging back on and see what, if anything, happens.

Appears the WRX admins have some work to do if it is not working with defacto standard browsers, Edge and Chrome.

I will just leave it as is.

I guess, in the grand scheme of things, it's not a high priority target, but one has to wonder why I would have different editing capabilities on what should be the same functional page, than you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They fixed it!!!! Cleaned it up and now correct.

Just curious. Did YOU do anything or did it just all of a sudden appear correctly ?

If you NOW go to edit your signature does the formatting bar shown in Post 19 now appear ? Just in case, once you go to that page do NOT click on "Save", just get out off there.
