Move over Brooks - young gun enters the tour

This has been an insightful thread into the very... eccentric clientele here at golfwrx. What started with confusion on units of measurement quickly devolved into shirtless Brooks pictures and a strange obsession with comparing the size of professional golfers to men who literally run years of steroid cycles to get to the size that actually benefits their sport (not that I begrudge them for it). Thankfully, I think Rory and Brooks will take the consolation prize of taking their private jets all over the world in 20 years still winning millions playing golf without needing a nurse due to severe brain damage.

Definitely some wilder discussion than what goes on outside of the Instruction & Academy forum.

Talking of young guns. I was at 13th beach on Sunday and Min Woo Lee is the real deal. It was blowing it's guts out and he was nailing the ball straight into the wind and launching it high with the wind. He can do anything and was really composed. Way better ball flight than Adam Scott, Jason Day and Lucas Herbert who won in Dubai two weeks ago.

Talking of line backers. Ryan Fox isn't tall but is shaped like a line backer. He is the son of an all black rugby player. Admittedly it was downwind but he hit a utility iron onto a 300m par 4. But still doesn't hit it as good as Min Woo Lee.

Lee is awesome, I remenber him hitting balls at the public range a few years ago, he must have been 15 or 16, just at the time his big sister made on the LPGA. And boy was he impressive. The range at his private course wasn't long enough for his FWs and Drives so he was coming onto the public range to work on his long game.

It was the day I realised we are definitely not playing the same game.

And I think Ryan Fox was a cricketer before turning to golf, iirc.
