Last few rounds I’ve played I have favoured the Mizuno ST190 over the Epic Flash, not as long but prefer the feel and sound of the Mizuno.

Also gone back to the old favourite, M2 tour 3wood. It doesn’t stay out of the bag for long.

That M2 Tour is a rocket but you have to hit it on the screws. I love the aesthetic of it but I just don’t hit it consistently enough to justify knocking my 915F or even my OG Ping G30 outta their first string and second string rotations.

It’s an absolute rocket launcher off the tee, it is a little unforgiving though. But it always finds a way back in the bag.

Picked up a new 3 wood tonight, tried a few different ones on trackman. But preferred the Sim Titanium.

Easy to launch from the ground, good flight, forgiving and sounds and feels nice.

Little bit of an update to the bag, new bag arrived today. Really happy with it, looks even better in person.
 

Picked up the Mizuno ST200 Driver head from eBay, I find it a touch more forgiving than the ST190.

 

The PXG 2 iron was mine, sold it to a mate, so just borrowing it again and trying to persuade him to sell it.

 

Added a hybrid for when the course is soft or play a parkland course.

Dunbar 3wood headcover, picked up on a trip there in September.

Little update on the bag.

Picked up a Sim max driver head from eBay. 
Love it so far.

 

Been messing about with a few shafts I’ve recently bought.

Ventus red in the 3 wood is amazing.

Ventus blue in the driver is good but just got the Ventus black the other day and seems better than the blue so far.

 

Also picked up a Sim 2 Rescue, not really tried it yet.

Great bag, especially the MacKenzie! I also happen to play a course called Sugar Loaf, but the one I know is in northern Michigan. Makes me wonder, how many courses are named Sugar Loaf in the US?

Update to the bag, Mizuno STZ driver and picked up the camo Titleist stand bag.

 

Had a couple of rounds with it and so far it’s working out much better than the Sim.

To be honest it does ok in the wet, just got the stand bag for a bit of variety really. Prefer the Mac over the stand bag.
 

So far so good with the Mizuno driver, I’d recommend anyone to give them a try.

The STz seems forgiving enough and it sounds nice. 
 

May need a set of 221’s now 🤔

I prefer having 50, 54 , 58 in my wedges. They work well with the 225’s.

Just a bit of an update, got a new Mackenzie bag which has been getting a lot of use.

 

Got a putter from Goodwood, absolutely love it and the service was first class.

 

Some new Vokey SM9’s

 

New driver and 3 wood, TSR2 driver with a ventus tr red 7x, stealth 3 wood with a ventus tr blue 7x.

It was 3, now only 2. Sold the grey Mac not long ago.

 

My new one is waxed canvas, 2 pocket one.

 

I love the bags, I’m tempted to get another lol.

Are your others the nylon? How do you find those ones in the wet?

The nylon ones have been fine, not used them in really heavy rain though.

 

I have used the waxed canvas one in very heavy rain.

Played 9 holes a few weeks ago after work, rain was light but after a couple of holes, it was really heavy rain and it was lay on the ground for each shot and everything in the pockets stayed dry.
