I hit the 7 iron yesterday. 185 carry and 4000 spin. My normal 7 goes around 170. I really like the idea of using the 5 iron as a driving iron, lol.

If true phil is off his rocker. Wouldn't totally be surprised if they were “dot” models or whatever and not retail version. But if they are, its not totally surprising, he is chasing distance like crazy lately( a weighted training driver in that bag speaks to what im saying lol) .. me thinks this is the beginning of the end for phil. At least i can rest easy when they tell me he is hitting a 7 from 200.. i wont feel like a short knock! ?

With anything Callaway makes, if Phil want changes to it, Callaway will make the change. They have made clubs specifically for Phil in the past based on what he wanted. The Phrankenwood was originally a Phil only club.

My guess is yeah like a dot version less offset or thinner topline. Why woukdnt he go to a Apex 2019 combo set? Does seem odd togo to super strong lofts he was hitting much lower 6 iron was like 95 ft apex if thats hits green prob wont stick

well damn. Here I was patiently waiting for the hype to die down and for them to crater in price like the original epics. Now Phil has to bag them. Now I know why the prices aren't moving in my direction.
