How do you structure goals for each TMNT ? (not long term goal, like Seasonal Goals)

Lots of talk about making goals processed based, not results based. I get it - dont make "Top 3" a goal, because you cant control how others play. Scores are based on other factors like weather, etc. We've tried different individual tmnt goals , some listed below but looking for a better way....

( ) Birdies - know there will be some bogeys, but focus was on getting ____ number of birdies each roundProcess Goals - Goal is to follow process every shot. We created a "Process Score"... Things like skipping a routine, or skipping reading a putt from both sides (if necessary), etc. resulted in "bogeys"....so basically shooting "process par" meant doing proper routine and all on each shot. Not surprisingly , the "Process Score" usually mirrored very closely the actual score to par.Taget Score - for various reasons found this to not be good. What other ways does your junior (or you help them) set goals for an individual tmnt that helps stay on track, think neutral shot to shot, etc.?

I like your Process Score above. Good idea.

I've tried to keep it simple.

Do your best - If you half @ss a shot, you'll get a half @ss result. I don't give a d@mn about the Leaderboard, so long as every shot that was hit, was hit with a best attempt.Have fun - Jack around between shots. Throw a ball. Crack jokes. Anything to remind them that whatever Tournament they're playing is just another round of golf, and not that big of a deal in the bigger picture.Keep a stone face - This is nothing more than keeping your emotions in check. Nobody should be able to tell if you just made a Birdie, or, a Bogey. This has been the most difficult.

In general, I created some scoring framework that is tied to the seasonal goals. For this season, we really wanna focus on scoring game. So all the scores are somehow tied to scoring game, e.g. # of putts per GIR, strokes to get the ball into the hole once she has a wedge in hand, etc. Hence, if she topples a ball or shank one to the right, it doesn't really impact her "scores".

Note that my daughter just started, so her game isn't complete. Hence, I want her to feel she can make progress in whatever the areas we work on. Open to feedback.

Since she's new, I'm also thinking to create some match play scenario against herself. My concern is that she'll blow up in certain holes, e.g. cannot get out of a bunker and take the max 10 strokes. Hence, I wanna make sure she can continue to have something to play for for every hole.
