SIM vs SIM Max in Driver and FW

I’ve been a Callaway guy forever, but my asst pro has me trying these things out.

I always think SZ when I get to Cally be low spin, so I thought the MAX would be the same. Am I the only one not having this experience?

I do love the smaller head too, which I think is a bonus.

The Max is actually higher spin with more forgiveness with a deeper face. The lower spin "SZ" variant would be the regular SIM.

Hit both the SIM driver and FW. The Sim FW was very good but I didn't see that much of an improvement to switch to it. The SIM driver on the other hand impressed me enough to order one and try it out. I sold my Mavrik Max the same day I hit the SIM driver. I thought it was supposed to be super low spin and unhittable but I got normal low spin and good height. Spin was 2100-2400 on most solid hits and height was really good for a 8*. I cant generate swing speed like most Wrx members so my results will differ from some guys who can actually tap the full potential of this club.

Hmmm....well I'm going in for a TM fitting today so I hope I get a similar experience as you. I hit the SIM & SIM Max last weekend at a golf shop and I wasn't overly impressed. My Callaway Rogue SZ felt better so I planned on keeping it until I tried the Cobra Speedzone. It wasn't the length that caught my attention but the amount of forgiveness was pretty nuts. I thought it was way better than the twist face tech. I really like the price point, shaft options, and white with matte crown head, so my conversation with the TM fitter is going to start off as: "I'm planning to get the Cobra Speedzone, try and convince me otherwise." :)

I like that approach...LOL

Did that last year when I went in to buy a Cobra in July because the Flash and I didn’t get along...Ended up getting a great deal on the ST190 and that club fits me pretty perfect when I’m swinging well.
