He's been in the D+ for a while now. I think he switched to it right before he won in Atlanta? Could be wrong on the time frame. I also think it was last season that we went 10g lighter in his driver and 3 wood at some point?

Weird, I remember a few years back he said he ditched the metal spikes because he thought too much grip was hurting his knee. I guess he's in YOLO mode now.

Step 1- Put shoes on after going into the clubhouse

Step 2- Stay off cart paths/concrete

Step 3- (Most important) The putting green is not a dance floor, walk like you have some sense

Step 4- Take shoes off before turning in cart key/going into clubhouse

All this however depends on the fact that you know the greenskeeper personally and he agrees metal spikes were way easier on the green than the modern plastic spikes ever were.

Looks like a sim max to me, which he was testing 2 weeks ago.

 

Also, the spikes may be due to the wetness of the grass.

Over here in the uk we just wear them. Not in the bar though. Nothing untoward seems to happen to the course as far as i can tell... getting increasing difficult to source the little blighters though.

Yeah I think that qualifies as "under a rock" territory. ?

He switched away from the Tensei Pro Orange to the D+ in late summer 2018, been in it ever since with the small weight change happening last spring.

There is still some old stock footage that i've seen being reused every now and then with the Tensei as well so its understandable. Your driver shaft value likely doubled thanks to the switch though. ?

From late 2018. Note sure how long he stayed with soft spikes. Tiger has switched to soft spikes to alleviate ankle pain

Then this from early 2019. Back to steel/hybrid spikes. Thought he played the Stinger spikes before he went to soft spikes in late 2018. The reason Tiger Woods continues to wear metal spikes
