SIM Max vs. Mavrik Max Hybrid

Has anyone had a chance to hit both hybrids side by side?

with all the talk about the SIM being anti-left, i'd be curious if anyone can compare it to the whole Mavrik hybrid line.

I compared the SIM Max to the Mavrik Standard and Mavrik Pro hybrids. I liked both the SIM Max and Mavrik Pro. Both have more of the fairway look and not as much offset. The Mavrik standard is larger and more iron shaped. I had a more penetrating flight with the Mavrik Pro vs the SIM Max, but still with a decent amount of spin to hopefully be able to hold greens if necessary. I ended up pulling the trigger on the Mavrik Pro, but I still liked the SIM Max a lot. Really wish these weren't a fixed/glued hosel.

The Mavrik Pro has minimal offset for a hybrid. The Mavrik Standard and Max have the typical aggressive hybrid offset.

How does the Super Hybrid compare? Wasn't that supposed to be anti-left?

I’ve hit the Mavrik Pro and it definitely is more fade biased then any Callaway hybrid I’ve ever hit. I prefer the SIM Max because for the trajectory.

Super Hybrid is more of a fwy wood replacement IMO. Won't be as workable and the Pro or SIM Max and have lower spin and launch.

I found the ball flight to be fairly neutral, the launch was much higher with the Sim versus the Mavrik, which I prefer in a hybrid.

I just saw that the mavrik hybrids can be bent flatter. Doesnt look like lie can be customized on the TM

I agree on launch, but when I tried the Mavrik Pro hybrid with the Mavrik standard high launch shaft in stiff, it performed better for me than the SIM Max.

I have the KBS in my mine, not loving it so far

I tried the KBS Tour, the Project X Catalyst HL and the Even Flow Blue and Black. I preferred the Catalyst HL followed by the Even Flow Black. Didn't like the KBS Tour.

I hit the Sim Max and Mavrik the other days. Sim seems to sound hotter, slightly more left for me.

The Mavrik Pro is super anti-left for me, ended up order the standard 5 Mavrik (23 degree) to replace my Apex 4 hybrid. A consistent baby draw, less workable than apex but more consistent and longer.

I don't know if anyone used SIM max with other custom shaft such as Tensei PW or tour ad DI.

I already ordered with stock shaft option but I like to know

I bought a SIM Max 3 hybrid and it just felt heavy to me compared to my old Callaway Rogue 3 hybrid. I just couldn't get used to the weight. So I used up my 90 day playability and got the Mavrik Max 3 hybrid. The weight just felt more comfortable in my hands.
