I just picked up a st190 custom order from 2nd swing. Same thing. No upcharge for shaft or grip. And came with a st200 headcover. I demoed both last week and the st190 was better for me. Sounds better as well. Good luck with yours.

ok, i have an ST190 that i loved after being a taylormade guy for many years. missed the adjustability so decided to try the ST200G. loved it more than ST190 in both looks and numbers. more rounded. Ended up purchasing it. Brought it home and swinging it the house, i notice that the head makes somewhat of a whistle noise instead of a swoosh noise. Seems like the air passing through the weight tracks is the cause. not sure. i tried the weights in all different positions, but still sound exists. Went back to PGA SS and demonstrated to salesmen. Three guys all agreed with me. we then tried another ST200G off the rack, and it too whistled. we switched shafts and different guys swung the club. still whistled. Tried a stock diamana, my own ventus and an atmos blue. Same result. You don’t notice the sound when actually hitting a ball because the crack of the trike masks the whistle sound. The store said i can return club if i want. swinging it outside also produced the whistle sound. I kept the ST200G because i love it otherwise.

i’m convinced it’s the design of the weight tracks on the sole. Am I crazy or do other ST200G owners notice it too? i’ve watched every Youtube review of this club head, and not one of them mentioned this whistle sound.

Anyone else hear the same?

Glad a lot of you are liking the 190...…..I was at 2nd swing today and hit the st190 the st200, and the st200G.....Not close for me. ST 200 and st 200G better in just about every way......Really did well with the 200G......I didn't like the 190 last year when I tried it but gave it another try this year......I wish it did work for me.

Where was this fitting done? Also, what is your tempo like? Are you a swinger or a hitter?

106mph SS with low 160 ball speed is like...insane

I went for a fitting up at TXG with Ian and I swing about the same, 105-108 and the only time my ball speed hit 160mph was a few TS2's that were nuked. I live around 155-157 and ended up with a G410. ST190 at the time was a contender, though....curious how it stacks up against the ST200

Mizuno has been doing real deal shafts since at least the JPX900 (my current gamer), Mine came with a Fuji Speeder but, I ended up putting in an aftermarket Diamana 'Ahina white board, I have a fitting at CC tomorrow and Mizuno is definitely on my shortlist.

what is it that didn't work with the 190 for you? was the st200 that much better in distance perhaps? just curious. picked up an st190 for 1/3 price of the st200...only had chance once to hit on course and i do like it better than my old cobra f8. for the price i guess i couldn't beat it, but just wonder how much better the 200 could be? mizuno talks about raising moi so I'm almost thinking of just adding about 6 grams to the current backweight to bring it to what mizuno has in the 200 and see if that does much.

Last years seemed to set up closed for one thing.......Just do not hit them well......I am more of a what works and feels right guy than a numbers guy......I look for a driver that I can do the things I want to do with it.....Probably why I need to test a club on the course.

I believe the balls that come with purchase are the new 566 and 566V which are 2 and 3 piece balls.

I will say the st200 will be the sleeper of 2020 great classic look one great driver, I tested against all of the new offerings and left with one never owned a mizzy driver, true winner they have with this one.

 

on a side note I ordered mine with a diamana blue and when it came the sticker said shaft made in Japan so yes real deal shafts

Likely the most adjustable driver on the market. 500 RPM variance on movement of weight from front to back, can do fade or draw, adjustable hosel ... pretty darn good on the potential.

I haven’t spent a ton of time hitting every driver, but I have hit them all... mizuno has a winner.

Driver is the last club in my bag I need to replace, so I’m planning on picking up a used one at the end of the season.

Is the adaptor on the ST190 the same as the ST200? I have my own shaft I want to get an adaptor for and then try it int he Mizuno on Trackman

Are they stocking the Diamanas in x? On Mizuno Europe the only x they have is the Atmos and KuroKage

Unfortunately the range session was not to be so it’ll have to wait til Friday after work to get some more feedback. Good news is Friday I’ll be hitting on trackman so should have some good data as I tinker with the settings

Incredible. Titleist makes classic clubs, but Mizuno makes classic and beautiful clubs.

Received my ST200G today with the Atmos TS 7x! I’ll be hitting it for the first time on Friday. Also have a Speeder Evolution 757 TS I will be testing to see what the gamer shaft will be!

Mizuno makes fitting cart here locally means that it would need to be bought without demoing, which brings resale value into consideration. If Mizuno woods help their value as well as their irons I would already have one on the way.

I hit this yesterday but ended up going st190g with a RIP-X, got a great deal on both head and shaft.

Did you notice any differences? I assume the results were "close enough" to justify the ST190, but was there more ball speed, launch angle, etc on the St200?
