I am genuinely not sure what else to say about this...what were Adidas and Rahm thinking about with this one?! It looks like the sort of top that you get for free when buying something else and then throw into the cupboard never to be worn again.

Im beginning to think Rahm rarely looks good in this stuff, super weird body type. But this is a new low, shoes are cool, that shirt though? I think the collar was just cut off, thats all it looks like

I think a lot of the adidas guys are wearing this this week. It's a collab with Adidas and Palace skateboarding. I know Xander posted something about it on his Instagram yesterday.

I like the look of the shirt. Huge fan of blade collars are they tend to be more comfortable. Rahm might not be the best person for the look but it doesn't look terrible.

I feel so conflicted about blade polos.

In a vacuum, I like them. Less uptight and more casual. That's how I like my golf.

On the other hand, in a world where everyone else is wearing traditional shirts, the blade polo sticks out as a sloppy sore thumb.

I also can't reconcile my knee-jerk negative reaction to blade polos with my full-throated support of shorts on all tours. I am a contradiction.

This doesn't really look like a 'blade' collar to me. I like that the Nike blades seem to "stand up" just a bit around the neck line, giving them just that - a blade collar look. This just looks a sloppy to me, not refined at all.

Blade collars are totally fine, I especially like them when I'm carrying. Just less bunching and cooler in warm temperatures. As for Rahm, the worst part about that shirt is the gray and green collar stripes, without them I wouldn't think twice about it.

So this is a collaboration with UK skateboarding company, Palace.

Palace is one of the largest skateboard clothing companies out there, right behind Supreme. They make actual skateboard products and have sponsored skaters on their team, but what they're really known for is their clothing line. It's a big deal, and pretty expensive. ($45 for a cotton t-shirt, $160 for a cotton hoodie).

They've done collaborations with Adidas all the time. Mostly shoes. They've done jerseys for soccer teams in the UK that are worn during games. This is the first time the company reached out and did a golf-specific collaboration. Me personally, I fucking LOVE it. I skateboard and golf, and it's awesome to see my two passions combine into one. There is going to be a full line dropped on the 21st. Including these blade polos, regular polos, sweaters, shoes, and hopefully some hats/gloves too.

yes, it would be such a shame to look decent while playing golf. You want to go to a nascar event in that getup by all means but adidas should/can do better than that!

Supreme NY is a skateboarding lifestyle and clothing company that was founded in NYC in 1994 by James Jebbia. Started off as a simple, small local skateboard shop. They have grown in popularity and are now a billion dollar company. Their classic logo is simply the word "Supreme" in white text surrounded by a red rectangle.

Their products drop online once a week, and are made in extremely limited quantities. Hot items sell out completely in under 60 seconds. Their "box logo" designs sell out in about 10 seconds. Then they are resold for insane prices.

This is simple a cotton sweatshirt with their logo on the chest. $450 is the low-end of how much they go for. Certain color combinations have reached $800 or more. Their jackets they make in collaboration with The North Face often reach $1,000+ in the resell market. Palace is a similar concept, but not quite as popular or well known as Supreme. This collab is actually a really big deal, and seeing some big names in golf wearing it is amazing.

Lol at “look decent.” I personally don’t think about if other men look decent personally, especially for a sport. Nor does extra fabric make a frumpy old man look decent. Hate on This particular shirt, fine. But arguing that collar shirts inherently look decent makes very little sense to me, I think people walking around with pieces of fabric around their neck for no reason other than “tradition” is hilarious. Grumpy frumpies thinking they can stuff their beer guts into a belt and collar and now they look good. Nope.

Golf isn't casual? I think what you're actually doing is showing why some people shy away from golf. Fear of being judged by people. Also I prefer no collar and no sleeves when I go to NASCAR events.
