Is there a 2019 ball that compares closely with RZN Black?

To answer your question, I would lean toward the Srixon XV or TP5X if you are looking for a replacement. Both firm and have similar characteristics. My vote is the XV. It's so good and you can likely get them for around $30 right now if you get last years model

i still have a stash of rzn blacks but mixing in some xvs as my stash gets low. theyre pretty close. both long off the tee. great in the wind. and similar spin on the greens. rzn blacks are a little softer feel than the xvs chipping and putting but thatd be the only major difference

I'm currently extending the life of my RZN Collection by mixing in a few other brands, and the closest I have found to the RZN line is the Bridgestone Tour B line. I've only used the Tour B XS, but it seems to be right in the middle between the Platinum and Black - great in wind like the Blacks, but perform like the Platinum round the greens. I'm told the Tour B X is the RZN Black equivalent, haven't felt the need to try it so far however, as the XS is working great,

I used to play the RZN Black and 100% agree with this statement regarding the Bridgestone B XS playing between the Platinum and Black. I play the B X now and I feel like green-side spin isn't as good with the B X as the RZN Black.

Only thing I found comparable was the Bridgestone's like the fellas above me.. Now all I use are Bridgestone Tour BX and BXS

I was Nike Black then the last generation Platinum with Pro v1 X.

 

Now Bridgestone BX and Pro V1 X.

I can can confirm that the makers of the Nike RZN have launched the same balls with the RZN brand name. The former Nike RZN Black is now called RZN Tour

Their website looks neat www.rzngolf.com and the technology behind the 4pc and the 3pc seems high tech. They claim they are the same manufactures that made the Nike Ball and after Nike retired from the market are going solo.

Found this video where they claim they are BACK! I really liked the Nike ball and this seem to be a good option . They are selling at walmart.com

The names of the RZN balls listed on the Wal Mart (Force, Star, Tour) website are not the same as those listed on the RZN website (HS Tour, MS Tour, Distance, Speed). Wonder what the difference is?

Looks like the ones in Walmart are the 3pc and the HS Tour is the 4pc , maybe for Pros and Walmart wanted a more "popular" ball ?
