G410 lst fairway smaller head

I like the look of smaller heads but not the best fairway wood player, would the lst be a mistake from g400? Obviously I plan to hit them

No, it was very easy to hit for me. I play my fairways off the deck mostly. I switched to a SIM now but it doesn't detract from the LST in any way. I think you will be very pleased as the bottom sits close to the ground.

Do you think it’s easier from the deck than G400?

LST is a smaller, lower spin head. I have no issues hit it off the deck. The reg. G400/410 will be easier due to the centre of gravity father back vs. LST. And a bit more forgiving.

That was always my understanding but I like the small head of my hybrid and was curious if I would do better with the LST. Not worth it in my mind to change from G400 to G410’s regular. I guess a side note is I have no problem elevating fairways, my problem is usually directional.

Just be aware the sound is not the best.

The G400 is similar. The difference is quite minimal as they both sit very flat to the ground and the LST is very forgiving itself.

I did not enjoy the sound myself that’s why I ended up changing to the SIM.

Played the Ping g410 LST 3 wood for a while. A very good club but have since switched to a Mavrik 3 wood which IMO is a better club in every way.

I love the sound of my G400 LST 5 wood. That thud sounds like pure power when you rip it

So to update, I bought the lst 3 wood with Tensei orange (same shaft I have in driver) This thing feels like a rocket ship, the sound is more “pingy” for sure but the smaller head is very pleasing to my eye. Hard to say about distance though because I played in 30 mph+ winds today. Shallow face like I line but almost too easy to get under the ball, the ground was wet so things were fat a couple times. Looking forward to what it does as I believe it will fly close to my driver from the deck.
