Couldn’t resist after reading some of the reviews.

My black just came in and Callaway tip is drying. Have to wait until this weekend when it gets into the 40’s if the range by the house is even open. Might have to swing by Carl’s Golfland next week to use the heated range.

Played the Even Flow Blue for the better part of last season in my Epic Flash. Lots of seasons in the past with the Aldila NV, Green and Silver so curious how the 130 White feels.

Black is just an experiment as I have never gotten along with the profile but you never know.

This was the answer I got from Aldila - In another email they said based on my SS 117-120 tip an X flex about a half inch to play as a TX

The only difference between the Rogue White 130 X and the TX, is the TX is about a ½ a degree lower in torque. The rest of the specs are identical. If you are on the high end of the swing speed rating, you can tip the shaft. We would not suggest tipping it any more than 1.5”. We hope this helps you out.

You will find the White a much tighter EF Blue. Feel

is there Luke the Blue, but much better dispersion. Use the Blue during a PXG fitting. The White is better! The Black is more like the EF Blue, but better also.

Aldila has a heck of a line here.

I received official word from Aldila and ProClubs that the shaft I bought was tipped an inch. The untipped measurement is 27 inches from the tip to the E in Rogue. Today is the first day in play, hope it goes well.

Again, not a "tester", but been spending more time with the Rogue White 60 regular flex in a Mavrik Max driver. Still very impressed with the shaft--strong, penetrating ball flight, not too soft, and also not boardy or overly stout. I did try the Rogue White 60 stiff flex, and that is a real step up in stiffness (as it should be), and was just too much work for my 90ish + mph swing speed.

I'm one round in and I really like the White. After my fitting last month where I timed the Ventus Blue and VA Nemesys the best, I thought the White would be a good fit as well even thought hey didn't have one to hit. This thread certainly pushed me to try one, and I'm really happy I did. Very progressive feel with much more 'kick' than I'm use to, but I consistently hit the center, center toe all day long. The flight was a bit high, but I'll drop the loft and adjust on the range today. Aldila really built a great shaft here that feels like the lovechild of the blue/whiteboard profiles.

From memory when I played TPO;

RW is more active in the mid shaft and loads more easily where as TPO felt like it loaded closer to my hands.

TPO is much tighter in the tip to the point I’d call it crisp. RW is very stable in the tip too however the sensation on mishits isn’t as hard feeling as TPO.

TPO felt more counter balanced and much harder to draw for me.

I’ll continue to preface with the fact that I am not one of the WRX testers. But I have been taking advantage of an unusually mild winter in NJ to get extensive on-course testing of the Rogue White, albeit still in somewhat chilly winter temps. I have not changed my initial impressions from earlier, that the Rogue White is a phenomenal shaft. I think the love child of the blue/whiteboard comment from above is pretty darn accurate. I am seeing mid-low launch, and mid-low spin, but in just a really fun, user-friendly package.

I now not only have the Rogue White 60 R with the Mav Max driver, but also have the Rogue White 70 R in a pair of Mav Max fairway woods (3 and HW). It is as good in the fairways as it is in the driver. Stable, solid and steady, but with a kick. It turns over. I need that, and can’t get along with a boardy shaft that doesn’t kick. Driver swing speed just north of 90mph. R flex works perfectly, stiff flex is just too stout for me.

Full disclosure—in on-course testing, with similarly struck shots, the Rogue White is often 5-10 yards behind my fitted Speeder Evo VI 661. So, once the weather warms up, I will need to really get a better sense of dispersion between the two. I’ll give up those 5-10 yards if the Rogue White keeps me in more fairways and out of trouble. They seem really close right now, but I think I am going to take the Rogue White with me on a golf trip in a week.

Bringing this back up to the top. The Rogue White 130 for me is so similar to my current Tour AD VR I can honestly stick with either of them and be totally happy.

The silver and black are not great fits for me.

After a few range sessions and one round with the VR and can say the White 130 and VR and very similar. Both really good looking shafts too. The White may be a touch stiffer in the handle. Both great shafts in the Sim head.

Same goes for me. I don't have hard data and I have no idea why, but the White is longer and straighter than the HZRDUS Yellow that I was fit for. I am going to get LM data soon which I will post. I am also planning on pulling the tip off of the Black, tipping it 1/2" then butt cutting it to length and trying it out in my 3 wood.
