Out of the tons of putters I have had these two are my only ones left and I could game either one at any time. The 615 has been one of the best putters I have ever owned and has a super feel and great balance. I use a Swag Suave One and this. The 615 was bought off eBay. It only has 615 stamped on the back finished in bronze like finish and the small Byron Morgan on the face. I sent it to Byron to finish the stampings. He did his amazing job and I love the way it came out. Originally it looked very plain and I did not like the color.

That is good news. Did you ask about the face milling? I just really liked the old standard "Tuna #4" face mill, so I'm curious how this one compares.

Personally I like the 615 better, if the bumpers get rounded off. The blocky neck of the 006 was always a turnoff. I’d prefer no ears in the cavity either.

I've got an order in for a 620, Tiger-inspired - Sight dot, smooth face milling, vertical stamping and dots. Looking forward to it, I like the clean design of this headshape. Appears more streamlined than the 615, but hard to say as I've never seen any in person. ETA 4-6 weeks so we shall see!

Congrats. I think the 006/620 is the best putter Byron's ever made, even better than the DH89. It has such clean lines and feels better to me than my DH89's do (and I've had them in SS, GSS, and carbon). Can't wait for the 620 to come out in LH.

Thanks for posting these pics. It is hard to tell... Is the offset 3/4 or full? I have a 611 which has 3/4 and is what I prefer.

Count me as another who prefers the 615, along with softened bumpers. But I’d also add that I wished he could find a way to thin the flange a bit but still be able to maintain a heavy-ish head weight(ie around 360-364g).

Stock 615 (not the ones received Tai treatment) has quite sharp edges. That was the biggest turnoff for me for 615.

620 looks ... different. Looking down, it seems the shoulders (secondary level) is a big wider from front to back. I’m still trying to internalize the new head shape.

I like the shape (I'd thin out the neck myself) but I'm not a fan of twilight zone milling.

Agreed, that's why I went with a smooth face. Wanted to replicate Tiger's putter as close as I could, except for the weight. Don't think I'd get along with 326g (or whatever it exactly is) at 34" as it would be way too light I'd imagine. I've always liked the sound and feedback on smoother faced putters anyway. I never have been a fan of super soft putters.

I'll bet it will feel/sound great. The twilight zone milling was widely liked on Byron's putters back in the day. My SS 006 does not have very deep milling at all (and it has a sound slot) and it sounds and feels great.

I requested “thinned bumpers and flange”, softened topline and softened neck. Unsure how that compares to the tai treatment. I also requested a more pronounced tri-sole. Headweight is between 340-345. He took a lot of the weight off the face because I had him hand mill it which is why the topline is thinner.

Thanks for the response. Your 620 looks more refined than the 620 I saw on the Instagram, and yours is exactly what I'm looking for in term of look & weight. Maybe I'll request a 620 with "MattGolfs treatment". LOL.

Lol if you just send him photos of mine that should do it! I went back and forth with him about 100 times before finalizing my design, he’s probably happy to be done with me hahaI ordered mine back in December before he finalized the stock face milling, so I chose something that I knew I’d like before taking the chance. I also like a more classic look and I’m extremely happy with it because the topline got tinned out at well!
