I'm probably in the minority here, but I kind of look forward to this event. I really like this course. Love all the trees. The field is good. Also, nothing else on TV right now haha

This event is great, it's an interesting course and about the only time the broadcast shows more detail. When they have the yardage alongside adjustments for elevation and wind, it really puts it in perspective. I'm glad they don't spend the whole time saying "wow he hit a 6 iron 250" when it was really at elevation downhill with the wind so it adjusts to 190.

I'm pumped for this event as well. As one of the few tour courses I have played, it is still amazing to see what these guys do on a "short" course. Honestly, love this test, vs the Florida penal-style golf. Glad to have a mix!

The fawning over the longer guy's distance, particularly Rory's, is always nauseating. You combine the altitude with the fact that someone that hits the ball as high as Rory will benefit even more because of that and you have these kinds of drives. No Roger, Rory has not found some "new gear", quit deifying him because the air is thin.

I'm with you. It's a great tournament. The course makes a refreshing change from many of the bland, soulless PGA Tour courses, i.e. those coming up in the Florida swing. It also puts more of a premium on accuracy, given the trees and how tight some of the fairways are.

I also seem to recall the last few years have been close finishes, which is what you want.
