Bang Golf Tour Tools irons are amazing. The 304 feels phenomenal. They are "semi-forged", meaning cast first then forged for "grain alignment". Dunno, but they are incredibly soft feeling, and the curvy chrome is bedazzling. I chose the Classic I model, which is a replica of the '78 Wilson Staff FG-17. Look elsewhere for forgiveness, of course, but the setup I have with these is a remarkable combination. Great trajectory (note the classic loft structure), turf interaction is a joy. They feel so soft that I would describe them as "juicy".

 

If you're looking for "forged" with some playability, definitely the Maltby lineup has plenty to offer but the prices are premium (the TS-1 is getting excellent reviews but haven't tried them; of course the MMB-17 is sexy and TE/DBM Forged are tried and true). Otherwise, in actuality, if you are looking for a low price point but in something that is playable with soft feel, Hireko's Acer XV Tour Blade is very soft feeling, is very easy to hit (with a very low CG) and is the lowest priced of the bunch (it does have an aluminum medallion in the back, a little tacky looking but they still look pretty good and clean).

Titleist 962B, 990B or 762B are great suggestions, although cavity back, they play almost like blades given their head size. Shape wise they are some of the best looking irons at address ever imo.

Cast means they are hard wearing too so it's fairly easy to find a set in decent condition and as a bonus I'm pretty sure the grooves are 2010 legal.

Check out New Level Golf, MODB-1, it is a two piece, so not sure if it meets your 'cast' requirement. The last line of the website description says "crisp audible of our fully forged irons."

One of the most under appreciated irons of all time, Wilson Pi5. Cast, looks like a classic blade at address, plays like a real game improvement club. It is amazing how easy these are to hit and to work, shot shape, knock down etc.
