Updated Birdieball Putting Green Reviews?

Hey all-

Currently rebuilding my basement and I think I've cleared out a space for a small putting area. I had been eyeing the birdieball greens for a few weeks and got an email on Monday for 25% off so I had to jump on it. I went with a 3x11 double depth with a stance pad.

I searched "birdieball Golfwrx" numerous times and trying to find as many reviews as I could, but a lot of it seems to be from 3-5 years ago. Anyone still using these? Have the products changed at all from 2014-2016 time frame? I'm sure it will be an upgrade from the 8 foot rollout mat I bought from Target 8 years ago (man that thing held up though!) but looking for some thoughts from those who have more long term use with this product.

Bought mine back in 2017. Same size. Use it daily. I doubt they’ve changed the formula. Highly recommend.

I've had one for about 5 years now. They're fantastic. My only knock on them is their durability, or the lack there of. It's only a problem if you're clumsy like me though. I dropped one of my putters and the toe hit first on the mat, taking a pretty good little chunk out of it. It was directly in line between the hole and where I typically putt from. I have some stuff they sent me that is supposed to repair the hole, but I just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I would still highly recommend them. They roll so true.

How do they hold up in heat? I was thinking of putting it in my garage so my pets don’t tear it up indoors. It wouldn’t be in direct sun, but being in Florida May experience heat/humidity. Would that be a no go?

Not sure of extreme heat but the material is consistent with that of a pool noodle. Unless your garage gets hot enough to melt plastics, I think it would be ok.
