S7K standalone Putter

Anyone try this yet? If so what are your thoughts?

I looked up their site and it looks like every other infomercial golf club out there based on their site with a ton of "info" and cheesy videos. Did you watch that video btw? The putts with the "traditional putters" are comically awful too.

 

But for the actual putter it looks similar style to the Bloodline putters. Heavy head, super light shaft and grip to stand up. If you're looking for a good stand up putter at a reasonable rate look at the Cure RX line of putters, they can be had cheaper than the S7K used and I'm sure better made going off my CX1 putter I have.

Maybe cheaper but you have not tried it. I’m looking for opinions based on trials. But I do agree with cheesy commercial.

Sorry can’t play until sometime in July. Hip needs replaced before I can test it in competition.

Out on Amazon 6 reviews. The only dislikes so far is the grip.

I saw it advertised on tv yesterday and wondered what people thought of it. I wouldn't buy it, I don't think the alignment aspect is that beneficial, at least not at the expense of giving up your preferred weight of the head. It appears too heavy to get good lagging feel.

We have a guy in our Tuesday evening league during the summer that is SLOWER than molasses - He is also a 'As Seen on TV' junkie and plays with every non-conforming product you can find during commercial breaks on the Golf Channel...

He bought this in the summer and most guys wanted to hit him over the head with it as it was another thing to affect his pace of play, gotta to give it a spin, and the grip is terrible (easily remedied), but it certainly has a cheap, toy-like feel to it.

It's gimmicky, and a waste of money in my opinion.

I purchase this putter a few weeks back.

Before this putter I have been using the same putter for over 2 years (Nike Method 001) which has been a great putter!

I practises with the S7K putter at home for a hour or so to get used to the heavier head of the new putter. I have been out on the course twice so far and I am absolutely loving this putter (genuinely dropped a 20 foot+ putt the first time I took it on the course).

what is really working for me is I can line my putter up, step back for a moment and review, then just commit by walking up to the putter, setting myself up correctly, then grabbing the putter and immediately taking my shot which is producing positive results for me personally.

still only early days but if you are looking to try something different this putter is worth a shot.

Careful if you ever change the grip on this putter. I re-gripped one for a customer who had a light weight super stroke on it and it wouldn’t stand up.

Bridgestone Golf had one of these a few years back. Regardless of what putter you have if you don't have proper alignment and make a good stroke nothing will help. Good luck with it and your hip surgery. For me …. not buying into it.

Just get a proper putter fitting. It's amazing to see putter strike dispersion w/ a correctly fit putter vs a non fit putter.

 

 

If I was going to do this concept, I'd just get a Bloodline and wouldn't mess w/ other brands. I've played around w/ a Bloodline, its fun for a few holes but not as a gamer.

I've played the Bloodline since it came out. In fact, I purchased a second one because they introduced a center-shafted mallet, which I prefer. Not sure what to do with the first one, so into the closet it goes.
