Birddog Pants!

Anybody have any experience with Birddog clothing? Seems to be a cheaper alternative to Lululemon. Aside from their stupidly funny marketing, the product doesn't seem too bad. Thoughts?

Marketing usually doesn't have a huge effect on me but theirs is so cringe worthy I just can't buy anything they sell.

I picked up a pair of their “weekend” pants and they’ve been great for golf. Agreed on their marketing not speaking to me, but the pants themselves are really good. They have a perfect amount of stretch. It’s a slightly “tech” material without being too shiny, so I don’t feel like a goober if I wear them away from the course. 10/10 recommend.

Check out Public Rec as well. Seems like a classier version of birddogs and their workday pant is awesome.

Dude relax. Most people aren’t against telling what they’ve paid for a particular piece of clothing. If people are here promoting the brand then it seems reasonable for them to post the pricing as well.

Bird dogs would look better if they didnt have those colored panels on the backside.. Plus the build in underwear on everything is a hard pass for me.. So strange..

Definitely agree with you on that one.. In my opinion, they narrowed their range with it because I am now unlikely to wear them in the workplace as well as the course.

Only 1 pair of the birddogs pants has a colored panel. The rest are 1 solid color. I have a navy and gray pair. They look enough like regular khakis for me to wear to the office but are super comfortable. I prefer the built in underwear but that’s all personal preference. They are $95.

That's fair. From memory, I thought more than one pair had the panel. The built in underwear is such a new concept to me.

Thanks for the comments on pricing gentlemen. Price point seems much better than normal Lulu pricing, but a bit more than Dunning.

Not familiar with Dunning, but after a quick search, I think their pants are the same price or more than the Birddogs.

I love my birddog pants. Think I started a thread on it a while back even. Big fan.

the two toned back panel on pants isn’t for me, but they make them all monotone as well which I have in the blue. I prefer them over the Mack Weldon pair I have thats at a similar price point.

I've heard good things. @Shankapod , I dig the profile pic man. Mixing the two topics together, I know a few guys that actually played Xball last year with Birddogs and they held up great.
If I'm going to pay over 90 bucks for pants, I'm just going with Lulu. Proven, comfty, light and take a beating.

I’d be ok going with the shorts cause those would be really versatile but the pants with underwear built in is a no from me.

Honestly their marketing is so cringeworthy and obnoxious that I refuse to patronize them. And I say this as a 25yo who falls firmly into their target market. This "bro culture" trash needs to die already. Maybe if their prices were like 1/3 lower, but for $95 I can get a pair of Bonobos golf pants which are some of the finest I've ever worn.

absolutely hands down Birddogs!! After u find ur size!! That’s all you’ll were for everything!! But, I s*** u not they knocked 4 strokes off my game alone. For the price! Can’t beat it
