Any of you guys using a TP Mills Putter?

Not quite the same as much of the sticks in this thread, I have a Mizuno TPM-2 that gets a fair amount of bag time, and a Spalding TPM-3 that I trot out once in a while. I'd put a midsized grip on the latter, have since moved back to standard size grips, it's waiting its turn for a new grip.

Quite excellent stuff.

Think the Mizuno TPM's are greatly underrated.

I currently game a soft tail wide flange. Thing feels amazing, is perfectly balanced and is made from GSS which he did not charge me any extra. Stamping came iut great and i would highly recommend mills over all the others. Mills has a ton of original designs as well. Most other OEM’s copy the mills designs.

I have a few Mills. I am currently using a Ming. I have a #1 handmade that I had David make for me 25 years ago. I just acquired a great handmade that was made for Kenny Perry. I have a GSS and a Fleetwood. I am currently trying to find a Fleetwood hi toe with a plumbers neck. You just can't beat T.P. Mills putters. If you're ever in Tuscaloosa, AL you should pay David a visit.

I have a TPM-4 from when TP Mills were Spalding models.

Haven't played it in years, but it was/is a putter.

Not sure that there's such a thing as a great putter.

And I've been looking for a long, long time.

I have quite a few Spalding TP Mills putters 1 thru 9--- I did a trade deal in December for one I always wanted which is a Mizuno TP Mills #1--- Guess what love it but can't putt worth 2 cents with it either

I started my golf career buying a used set of Ben Hogan Radial irons and new Hogan laminated woods (1-3-5). I also started with a Spaulding TP Mills putter. Don't recall the model but I am thinking it was #3.

I have supposedly "Tour Issue" carbon Softtail that I got from a member here many years ago. It had some stamping in a layout I've not seen on another Mills, along with some milling in the cavity to remove a little weight.

Sent some pics to Jay at Greenway putters, who used to rep for David and he said it was authentic, but not sure when it was made or who for. Great feel and roll.

I also have a Spaulding TPM VII ( 8802 style) and a Mizuno Workshop II that are both stellar.

I've often thought about a new custom, but haven't pulled the trigger.....

I have several including handmades One and # 12. Phenomenal putters. David is always great to talk to or text with. There has to be something about them since I have been with T.P. Mills putters since 1975. T.P. asked me to visit and showed me his original shop and how he made the putters and ones in process for toting professionals and even President Reagan at he time. It was a great experience.

My TP Mills Heritage is my backup if my gamer goes south. David Mills made this for me back in 2008 after I ordered it seeing the prototype in his shop. I had a terrific time visiting David. This is one of the first Heritage putters made.

That is absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite putters is an original (albeit refinished) Spalding T.P. Mills TPM 9, which is obviously the inspiration for your putter. I bought it for I believe $35 on Ebay in it's present condition. Here are a couple pics of it:

Thanks for posting, looks cool like that. Any idea how much weight the cavity milling removed or weight now? If I remember correctly these were 350 - 355 gram heads

Hard to say but I'm guessing 345ish is current weight, just by feel.

I was told it went back to David for the world that work.

Do you know anything else about this run?

Another positive rec for the TPM3. I know it's not a true TP Mills (as in custom made under that umbrella), but as mentioned above it is one of the softest and purest feeling carbon putters I've ever used.

I have a custom TP Mills putter that I remember sitting in his living room 30 years ago with him and David having me putt balls on their carpet.  I still have it and use it to this day.  My initials are in the face of the putter.  They are absolutely incredible putters.

Been struggling to let go of my classics (or bench them at least) and was looking heavily into TP, send in a quote request for a Dale by David in oil can. I have stopped chasing circle T and want something truly mine lol

Do it, no joke do it. I'm holding onto my Trad II for dear life and honestly going to buy a backup cause of how well it performs for me.
