Inertia Technology? Haha

Inertia

a tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged.a property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.

I got their most recent 3 wood for around $50 as something to just mess around with and have had shockingly good results. It performs so well that it is now my go to option off the tee when I really need to hit the fairway and still poke it out there a good ways. Naturally you have your doubts that something from an "off brand" could perform as well as the big brands that have done millions in research and development but it only took a couple of swings to become a believer. It will be interesting to see how their new line of sticks perform and of course how quickly they will be marked down haha.

The materials the Atomic line used such as the DAT55g titanium is the type used in very high end Japanese JDM products. The TA1 line had some quality issues but the Atomic line seemed to fix most of those. They are going to have an uphill battle shaking the house brand image but the products are solid performers.

thankfully they abandoned the red paint on the top. I game the original TA1 driver (crazy sale at Dick's) and have had really good results with it. I compared it to the Ping g400 at the time and went with the TA because it performed the same for me and was way cheaper. also game the 19* hybrid which i love. I did have to paint both though because the design on the top was awful. looking forward to giving this a go.

I gave this driver a thorough test last weekend on the launch monitor and it was quite surprising how low spin it was. I started with the HZRDUS yellow 6.5 which is way too much shaft for my swingspeed (106 mph) and could barely average 1700 RPM. I thought it was just the shaft but even when we put the UST Helium BLACK stiff in the head the spin barely averaged over 2000 RPM. I'm usually a moderate spin player and try to shoot for between 2300-2500 rpm. Launch was between 10-12* and ballspeed came in within 1/2 mph of both the SIM and the Mavrik drivers.

The Helium felt good but was just a hair loose in dispersion. With the right shaft this club is definitely a sleeper and competed right beside the other 2020 offerings.

Feel and sound were also excellent. No annoying tin can sounds, just a nice metallic crack, even indoors.

Ill be interested when it goes on sale.

I have the atomic 3 wood and it is $$$. Very under-rated. I got my buddies who are getting into golf to buy up on some of the atomic line. Performs just as good if not better than the big brands in my opinion. This driver looks awesome. Any word on the stock shaft? the project x even flow was a nice touch to the atomic line.

Haha, talked to my buddy at Golf Galaxy today... he said it was all good stuff and it would be 1/2 priced in about 6 months.

Yes and no... it’s a house brand with little advertising and no tour presence. Manufacturing cost is only one factor in a club... this doesn’t push technology or require much R&D.

At the end of the day, a $500 driver is worth what people will pay for it. It’s pretty easy to get comparable equipment a year later for less than half the cost.

I've now gamed the new 845 driver for 4 full rounds and have never driven it better. Sweet spot is definitely high toe but dead center hits still go long and I'm finding more fairways than ever. Might not be quite as long as some OEM but I find the shaft to be stable and a good fit for me (about 107 SS with driver) and have definitely seen some self-correcting in the ball flights.

Bought this driver March 26th. I've golfed a lot this year and last week the shaft completely broke and the head went flying down the driving range. Really disappointed because I'd finally found a driver I felt comfortable with and could consistently drive 270-330 yards. I've never had as much confidence with a driver and was upset it broke. Fortunately, Dick's at Park Meadows in Colorado will replace it for free. I couldn't be more pleased with the club, or with Dick's for their awesome customer service (which I'm not used to at bigger chains). I would recommend this club to any average to high handicap golfer.

Being honest, that’s a very clean looking driver. Probably the best looking lower price driver I’ve seen. My son might end up with this for his bday.

I just picked up one of these after hitting a ton of balls in a Golf Galaxy hitting bay. It felt the best and tied the SIM 2 Max for results, so I bought it. But I forgot to talk to the assistant about the loft sleeve. Anyone know if it's the same as the TM sleeves, where an increase in loft also makes it more draw biased?

The loft sleeve adjusts the face angle just like the TM sleeve so the face will close if you increase the loft.
