Roshe G vs Tour

Thinking about getting a pair of Nike Roshe for this year. Anyone compare the G to the Tour versions?

If you can find a pair of Rosie at a Nike factory store or Ross its a killer deal. Got a pair at Ross for 25 bucks and they are my backup pair.

As with all things, it depends on what you like. I have a few pairs of both, but I much prefer my Tour's because of the hard spikes and the materials provide more stability. Why do I have the G's then? Because they look good, are breathable and I wear them as my range shoes. The reason they became range shoes is because they don't handle moisture well and I feel like the lack of traction causes me to spin out when I'm playing on any surface but hardpan in 110 degree heat, which I don't do. They both look great, and are comfortable. YMMV.

Tour are synthetic leather and much more substantial. I've only tried on at store, but I felt as if I might need a 1/2 size bigger in tour and they needed to break in. The G felt amazing right away but may lack a bit of stability. They are very different shoes.

I tried the G on in store and they felt amazingly unstable. on the other hand the Tour's feel like normal golf shoes. I have 3 pairs

I have 2 pairs of the Gs, and I think they are extremely comfortable. I also don't think they are extremely unstable as others have experienced (unless you are backpedaling on 8 at Augusta and step on a sprinkler head). That being said, I only wear them on hard/dry course conditions or casual Sunday afternoon 9 with my wife where I'm not going after every shot.

I personally did not like the feel of the Tour; I think there are more comfortable leather/spiked shoes out there.

Honestly the G’s are POS’s, the tour is probably one of my favorite golf shoes I’ve ever worn. Light, stable, comfortable.
