Best pants I've ever played in... Lululemon.

Very similar feel to material, but I still like the Lululemon ABC pants material better. I like wearing the Rhone Commuter jogger while playing golf, and the pants are fine, but I feel like Lulu pants have more stretch. Rhone offers complimentary hemming when you order them online, and for Lulu, after you get them in the mail or if you buy them in store, they'll hem them for free as well. They're a bit goofy in fit, so it's worth going into a store to try them on. Over the years, I've collected just about every color and style, and that's all I wear for work and travel. I do wish they had a jogger version of their ABC pants that has the zipper and belt loops, to look more professional on a golf course but oh well.,

I've got 6 pairs of the 'budget equals' from Old Navy two years ago and they are still in perfect shape. My buddy bought a pair of the LuLu's, and switched to my Old Navy and said they are close enough and obviously way cheaper. Now Target has a line that is very comparable. There are clearly budget equals to the ABC pant. What's hilarious is your lack of open mindedness to other products. Especially in a thread with people saying the exact opposite.

I just ordered two pairs of the Old Navy pants. I've lost weight and had some tummy surgery that lowered my waist from 38 to 34.

 

It's human nature to think that something more expensive is better. There have been many studies to prove this.

I’ve wanted to like/buy the Lulu’s for a couple of years now, but they just don’t fit me right. I haven’t seen them mentioned yet, but the Tommy Bahama Boracay 5-pocket pants are the best I have ever worn. They are extremely comfortable and stretchy. I don’t like wearing anything else now. They can look a little “casual” in certain colors, but they are just the best for me.

Bonobos tend to be the truest in fit. Their 5 pocket pants check all the marks. Rhône isn’t bad. Soft light material but fit odd in waist. Their the next size up at waist compared to Bonobos but the rest of the fit is larger. ABC pants are a heavier material and more tapered from the knee down but looser in hips and thigh compared to bonobos. None are cheap but I would recommend in the following bonobos then lulu then Rhône (the pant I felt was overpriced).

Agreed on the Target Pants, I just went to try on a pair (purchased) and wore my ABC pants for comparisons sake. The ABC's have a slightly narrower ankle opening, but I mean SLIGHTY, they are very much similar. At $40, it's really a no brainer for a great pair of nice pants that I can knock around with.

I found the target pants to be tight in the thighs and seat. I picked up a pair yesterday. May try them on again tonight before returning them. The material seems really good.

I'm an ABC guy but I'll have to check out Target and ON. Some of my ABC's are too big since I trimmed down 10 pounds and it's really frustrating having to tighten a belt around them as if I'm a teenager wearing his dad's pants.

My Old Navy pants arrived today. The 34 waist runs a little larger than my other 34 pants. The fabric seems a little shinier than the previous incarnation of these pants. For $28 and free shipping you can't go wrong. Crocodile tears is similar to army green.

I too own two of these pants and they have been great in chilly MO weather; mid 40's. Kinds of pricey but I could wear them on other occasions which is nice as I can't wear my Nike or Puma pants other than when I'm golfing.

These pants are amazing. The standard cut is a nice modern fit, not at all baggy and they are stretchy and extremely comfortable. They also have a slim fit, but that cut is a bit extreme for my liking. If you're looking for some pants for this golf season I can't recommend these enough.

Tried the Target Motion pants today and while the fit And material was pretty good I just couldn’t deal with the horizontal stitching on the back of the knee as seen here on the model. Just a weird design. Other than that for $40 it’s a solid buy.

I really like the look and feel. What I do not like is that they jacked the price by $20. $148 is too much for those pants.

They’re great, but they are a jeans replacement. They look like jeans, but super comfortable and flexible. I recommend them, if you want something that looks like jeans, but you can actually move in.

Anyone had an issue with size inconsistency with the ABC pants? I have a couple pairs that fit me perfectly, and just got a new pair (albeit from a 3rd party re-seller, but I cannot find ANY sign they are counterfeit) that is at least 2 inches tighter in the waist and definitely tighter in the seat. Definitely not labelled as "slim", but they are the "long" version. I didn't think that would impact waist though.

The sizing of pants ran small several years ago. They announced "new" sizing to be more consistent with other brands about 3 years ago
