Wow this escalated quickly haha. Thread wasn't started to hate on pxg or praise them. Not sure anyone said billy switched clubs; him still playing the irons is not surprising it's been a few days he's not going to switch in a week (if at all).

I owned pxgs and they were great irons. I never cared much what other people play, but I understand both sides of it. I would buy another set some day but I do know that the ap2 I switched to aren't noticeably better or worse.

To me if you get fit and they work best, if you have the money what do I care what you play?

Some people do need to come to the realization that the extra thousand or two is not a lot of money to some people and get over it; people spend $3k+ on a bottle of wine, you going to stand outside Nobu yelling at them lol?

Back to the original topic, I saw Billy wearing a polo hat today so maybe he was told to not wear nike logos. Interesting theory about him being removed, sounds like conjecture but would explain the rather bizarre timing of this.

That's not what Porath and Johnson said on their podcast. They said the rumor is that Bob let go the tour rep he originally bought from Ping and both Horschel and Reavie are closely tied to him. That, along with some other issues, led to his departure.
