In all honesty you are better off hanging out with golf people more - spend more time hanging around your club, networking with business contacts...you have to put in time and effort, and maybe some day with some luck you’ll get an invite.

You're dealing with a place that has somewhere around 80-100 members. There are 23.8 million golfers in the USA. It's probably the hardest invite in golf. IF you're a member at a good private club look into something like open rounds (Think its like tinder for private club invites.)

Unlike some other hard invitations (Augusta is probably the hardest invite), there is unaccompanied guest play at Cypress during a timeslot in the morning. You just have to be sponsored by a member, not accompanied.

But yes, a post on Golfwrx is not likely to yield an invitation. :)

LOL, reminds me of the guy a few years ago that started more than one thread about wanting to play one of the exclusive clubs in Palm Springs and shamelessly offering to pay $$$$ to anyone that would invite him to play --- like those members are on here hoping to score a few extra bucks and inviting "that guy" to the course.

You can find Sunday's masters tix with relative ease each year online, albeit expensive. You won't be able to get a tee time at CPC with a credit card however. Like asking if you could be the next James Bond? "Please! I have been dying to be the next James Bond."

Pfft, a toy course. My awesome length off the tee makes CP irrelevant except for the scenery. I once met a member of ANGC. He carefully did not invite me to join him for a round.
