Global Golf EBay Ratings - very good rating.

I did a search and found some older posts about ratings. Was curious if anyone has more recent feedback on the ratings from Global Golf on eBay. It is hard to buy sight unseen, but it seems like there is potential to get a good set at a lower cost. Specifically looking at a very good current model set of irons.

The feed back should be a good indicator of how people have found their service and the condition of the clubs when they come.

They're pretty conservative with their ratings. So very good condition is sometimes what other people would consider mint on here.

Thank you. That is assuring. Hardest part is what I’ve read about lie angles but I could always take to my golf pro to measure to see if they are off.

Yeah if you can get a good deal from them they're one of the most reliable preowned dealers on the website. I believe they handle all of the trade ins for Taylormade too now so definitely have the backing of a major manufacturer. I've actually bought a set of irons from them that were 4 or 5 seasons old and listed as very good, and two of the irons still had plastic wrap on the heads.

I purchased a set of Mizuno 919 Hot Metal 4-GW from them through eBay. They were listed as "excellent" condition but in the notes they stated the clubs were used as a display model. When I received them, I'd bet $100 they were never swung. These things were flawless. Grips and heads were wrapped in plastic, no nicks or marks to speak of. Shafts were flawless also. I couldn't be any happier with my experience with them through eBay.

When I received my new clubs, I turned around and traded in my old Rogue X clubs for the 150% towards the Mavrik, also through Global Golf. It took a little time for them to pay on the clubs but again everything went flawless. I will use them in the future with no hesitation.

I've been happy almost every purchase but I'm not too picky. I've bought a few lowest rated "Value" condition iron sets in the $200-$350 range using discount codes and/or rewards points discounts that looked better than I was expecting and only one set had severe browning.

Woods on the other hand will most likely always have crown/topline scratches pop-up marks, sole wear and face marks. That's just how it goes with woods, as they all sit together in used bins or however they store them and clank around against each other without any protection.

Then people on here complain how they package items with nothing but a little cloth sock thingy with other clubs loosely so they bang around some more during shipment. Buy a head cover assuming they'll put it on your club. Nope. They just thrown it in the box too.

BFD, like I said considering the deals I've gotten (usually their eBay store is cheaper) I've been happy with my purchase.

One more thing, they don't specifiy grip model or size and they say they always replace grips if they are shot but that is not the case in my experience. Some of the sets had slick grips that were clearly on their last leg but most other times grips were fine, even getting fresh NDMC a few times. It's possible you could receive jumbo size grips or mismatched grips so just be aware.

If you aren't happy they'll always accept returns but on your dime shipping them back unless somethings severely off from their listed specs.

Ordered a Cobra F9 with Fujikura Atmos TS Blue through Globalgolf Ebay. Stated condition was excellent. Driver arrived and looked better than excellent, obviously never gamed, still had all factory stickers. I couldn't even find a ball mark or a scratch anywhere. I have had great success with Global golf. I live in same state so I get items in 2 days.

That’s good to know. The exact set I was fit into is listed in very good and is the latest version. It’s 400 less than buying new so I figure might as well give it a shot since I live in the state below and hopefully it’s pretty quick turn around.

I have always been a fan of globa lgolf, but the last two items that I bought as very good were pretty bad......Both iron sets.....Both returned.

First rate......Takes about 10 days from the time you ship back though...….They send a shipping label that I think is about 7 bucks.....As I said, before this, I have always been a big supporter and will still deal with them again.

Similar experience. Bought a set of Blueprints from them on eBay listed as Very Good. I was shocked how bad they were when I received them. So much bag chatter it looked like they had been played since the 70’s, most of the faces had serious browning, most shafts had rust spots all over, and to top it all off the 8 iron shaft was loose in the hosel. You could actually just turn the shaft by hand. I sent them an email with all my concerns. All they responded was “return them”. No apology or what can we do to make this right. That was the last purchase I made from them. Bought ALOT from them previously without issue, never again.

I grabbed an ST190 last year it was 'like new' but it had sky marks. returned it.

Well I took the plunge and saved 400 from buying new for a set of JPX 919 Forged with the shafts I was fitted into. Here’s to hoping it’s in good shape! Thank you all for the input. It really helped in making the decision to do it and if anything I could return.

Add to all of this that on their website their prices are now extremely high in most instances, and they have removed almost all discounts and coupons that used to regularly apply, and for better or worse (mostly better), I hardly buy from them anymore.

I have ordered numerous clubs from them. Whether it was off there site or eBay store. Seems the condition ratings vary for sure. My recent purchase of a Ping putter was described as as “mint” and it was nowhere near mint. I ordered a mizuno st180 driver in excellent condition. And it still had the wrapper on the head and grip. So it seems that quality control seems to be difference person to person.

I’ve generally been pleased with them as well. Their warehouse is 4 miles from my house so clubs usually arrive within 2 days even with economy shipping. In the Fall I purchased an F9 driver in value condition and received one that looked new as if right off the rack. In December I ordered an F9 5 Wood and it arrived with the worst sky marks I’ve ever seen so I returned it and got a full refund. Most recently I ordered a Cobra One Length Utility in very good condition. It is generally in good shape, but the bottom of the head is worn to where it’s silver instead of black - so probably could have gone either way on whether it was value or very good.

They are offering some good trade enhancements right now - got $40 more for a TS2 driver than I paid for it on 2nd Swing.

Global Golf rated these Z745's as "excellent condition" with grips still wrapped and they've never seen a ball.

I ordered 2 Titleist 818 hybrids and a 917f2 4 wood all in like new condition. Hybrids still in original plastic. 4 wood had a big sky mark on the toe. No chips or scratches. Looked bad but after some work, I was able to clean it off. Took advantage of the current Titleist promos and got all 3 very cheap imo. Very satisfied

Same here. My last three purchases from them have been returned. Condition was supposed to be certified preowned and very good. They weren't even close.
