Opinions on Bang and Geek?

I'm specifically comparing/contrasting the (1.) Geek Golf No Brainer & (2.) Fail-Safe 3 models vs. the (3.) Bang Mellow Yellow 420 & the (4.) Pink-O-Matic (i.e. Bang-O-Matic) models. Looking to chose one or two of these as fitting clubs, has anybody used them? Results? Do any of these sound atrocious like a Hi-Bore or a Sumo at impact? Any feedback from the Hivemind would be appreciated. Thank you as always in advance to the community for sharing and for growing the game.

I have a Geek 9 deg. "Dot-Com-This" driver. It looks and sounds nice...pretty mellow crack sound when hit. Low spin head. Not sure if this helps as it is not one of the drivers that you listed but I have not hit any of the others. I have heard good things about the Fail-Safe and Bang-o-matic but I have never personally hit them. Good luck!

I ended up just pulling the trigger on the Mellow Yellow 420, namely because I liked the looks and specs, notably the much flatter lie angle and sub-200G weight. I am so glad I went with this. I built it long (just under 47") and this head is really a performer. Excellent sound and feel, the distance is fantastic (without the benefit of a launch monitor, I can tell you that my ball flight and spin rate are better than they ever have been before). Of course also, hats off to the Accuflex Vizion LD50 shaft: this is my first experience with Accuflex and I am beyond pleased.

Nice! The Mellow Yellow looks really awesome. I am glad you are liking it. They definitely seam to be lower spinning heads...the weight feels forward and center at least on the dot-com-this. I think a lot of the long drivers use it.

47"...now that is a stick!!! I cut my drivers down to 44.5" and I am 6'-2" about 250 lbs. I am going to have to look into that Accuflex shafts. I am a big time tinkerer when it comes to clubs...I have a ton of different driver shafts that I swap in and out just to see what I kind of numbers I can get. I also like the fact that the Mellow Yellow is a 420cc head. I tend to like the 430 to 440cc heads myself.

I must admit, this driver is a little ridiculous...swinging it is akin to trying to hold a rattlesnake, chuckle.

In short, I am quite tired of having woods and long irons into the greens all the time...I'd rather be attacking with something like 6-iron or below...better yet a wedge, nah'mean? So, I've committed to core training for the next few months while my arm surgeries heal up: I'll need much better balance to wrangle this thing. However, early tests show this combo can be worked in both directions and is stupid-long for me. Can't hardly wait.

IIRC that MY head dates back to the early 2000's. I had one once but honestly don't remember what I thought of it. Most of the heads listed on the Bang website have been around for 10yrs.

I gamed a BANG Storm 15 or so years ago and it was a really good driver. I became interested after a couple playing partners were using the Bang-O-Matic and killing the ball. They were the shiz in their day.
