Bent Creek in Eden Prairie, MN

Is anyone a member here or know of any members? This seems to be the only private Twin Cities course without a traditional fee structure (no initiation or other fees like capital assessment, golf services fees, etc) and that's what intrigues me about it. My big question is on how busy the course is? Can I just show up after work and go out and play?

I’ll check with my brother on this. He lives in EP and just joined Olympic Hills after a decade at Oakridge. He’s fairly connected in golf up there. I’ll let you know.

Hey jwalk - I am looking into the same thing. Tough to beat the prices being offered, especially in the west metro. I have been out there a few times over the past couple years without any problems. They are having an open house event coming up on the 18th IIRC.

I was a member there up to a year or so ago, so I can give you some detail here (or people that may find this thread in the future). After work you can almost always just show up and walk on, I've never had an issue with that. Obviously the Sat/Sun morning tee times are at a premium and you have to get in early to get a slot there, Sunday afternoons are always wide open though (as they are at most clubs).

I'd love more info on Bent Creek if anyone wants to provide here or shoot me a DM. Interested in something semi-private but affordable in the Twin Cities area, the closer to Minneapolis the better. (I'm 26 so if I can qualify for any younger member programs, all the better.)

Minnesota Valley is one to consider if focusing on the southwest part of town. Nicely restored Seth Raynor-designed course. It’s a golf club, no tennis/pool, so their dues are not as high as full-on country clubs.

I'm a member out there. Tee sheet is usually busy during the prime times but later in the afternoon and during the week you shouldn't have a problem at all. The one thing I will say about the course is that the membership is amazing. A lot of great people out there that don't take themselves too serious. I have never had a problem when joining a group with people I didn't know.

The course itself is what you would expect for the price. It's a shorter course with notoriously hard/good greens.

I truly believe that for the price you would never be disappointed.

I realize this thread is old but figured I would reply in case anyone searches and has the same questions.
