If Horschel and Reavie had close ties to the tour rep, after signing, they probably only dealt with him. If Parsons' private persona is as insufferable as his public one, and he fired the rep, perhaps they valued loyalty over company.

If you make claims the public expect results period! Reality is that Bob's made some outlandish claims and all the public see is underperforming tour players using expensive equipment. Who can forget, when Nike stop making golf equipment, Bob claimed tour players were running to PXG? Who are those players? Billy and Chez exit is not a good look and if pxg does not produce a winning formula, I see them exiting all tours and just focus on consumer business.

Nobody was buying pxg because of billy and chez. Nobody is buying them because of Lydia, pat perez, zj or anyone else on staff. They have had pros come and go. The market parsons as and is going after is the one that doesn’t care about cost and/or wants what others can’t have.

Parsons has also found success by offering active and veteran military and first responders a discount.

I don't think you can single out pxg for making outlandish claims I am pretty sure all of them do that, perhaps Ping and Mizuno are not in the same league, but Callaway and Taymormade (especially) make ridiculous claims all the time. I see pxg's tour staff as basically them saying they must have some tour presence but it isn't a priority for them.

 

You have to be fair you can't play a taylormade driver and three wood and then say you hate PXG because they make outlandish claims; there is a different reason you aren't playing pxg.

I'm racking my brain to figure out what this 3-letter word is and I cannot figure it out. KABOOM! has six letters (seven, if you include the exclamation point), so that can't be it. Sex has three letters, but I don't see how that can be linked to your decision not to play PXG. The same goes for cat, hat, tie, nit, kit, fit, pip, pop, bop, and shy.
