Not per say. It is a Mini Tour. But some do use it as a prep for the larger tours

Not necessarily an affiliation but their player info page states they get a Korn Ferry Q school exemption based on points race.https://outlawtour.bluegolf.com/bluegolf/outlawtour19/mo/1920_Players_Info.htm

I always found that thread about how much longer male scratch golfers are yada yada and how that makes up for everything blah blah blah...... It was a laugh fest how so many dudes thought a scratch could hang. Heck even a solid scratch at Bethpage Black from the tips isn't shooting those scores on the Outlaw Tour let alone be at -8. These gals are GOOD? Heck they're freaking AWESOME.

I might be wrong but I think most people in that thread thought it was nonsense. I'm a scratch I dont think I could beat a female pro. I think it was just a loud minority of people, as is often the case...

What's the outlaw tour anyway? Is this like a tour of criminals and outlaws? I'm picturing like Mad Max except for golfers. Like they hit balls with clubs fashioned put of welded together axes or something

Is that what this is?

I was curious what caliber player these outlaw tour guys are. I randomly picked some dude who is tied with her after r2 named Matt Gurska. He is 27 now but pedigree not that good. He played college golf for Robert Morris University where as a junior he averaged 79. Hmmm...https://rmucolonials.com/sports/mens-golf/roster/matt-gurska/4840

So true. Just try to shoot in the 60s at your local course from 6200-6700 yards. LPGA players will wear down a scratch player quickly by leaving very few strokes on the course especially around the greens, bunkers, and greens. I think the only chance a scratch golfer would have against a LPGA players is to out ball strike them by hitting a ton of fairways and greens and be substantially longer than them.

Yeah, don't bother if you're not a plus handicap. When evaluating LPGA players remember we're looking at every tournament score. If you took that standard, many scratch guys would not be scratch.

Exactly. She still shot a -1 round. All things considered she is having an outstanding event so far. Hope she has a good final round today. A top 10 would be impressive!

I remember the thread of guys vs gals that Obee had where they played in SoCal on the same course a few weeks apart. Basically the women will win 9 out of 10 times. In my own experience I have watched the women at Moon Valley CC, Superstition Mtn, and now at the Marriot courses in North Phoenix. What I notice is the consistency- especially the short irons. If the putters are working they shoot mid 60's regularly. I have played Moon Valley and the Marriot courses. They are not that easy yet the women shred them regularly. I am +3 in my men's club with the new HC rules and I would have to play REALLY well to do what they do everyday. The LPGA is a very competitive world tour. In fact most ams would improve if they watched the women dissect a course instead of watching the bomb and gouge on the PGA Tour.

You have to be a GolfWRX 4 to play on the Outlaw Tour.
