Can’t dial in your preference without one though ??‍♂️ I agree, once you have it keep it but you need one to play around with weights in the first place. My new stroke lab black ten is the same price and needs another $50 if I wanted to bump the weight up ??‍♂️

Whoever is flagging posts they disagree with needs to be talked to by moderators or banned. According to my profile, they marked my posts as "spam" and "abuse"...

The "flag" is not a "disagree" button, it is intended to be used when people are out of line and/or using this forum inappropriately, both of which I did not do, nor others did who are getting flagged. If you can't handle alternative opinions, even those that are expressed in a polite or normal way, then you really shouldn't be posting on the internet, period.

That IS unfortunate.... I enjoy reading all opinions of what people have to say about a product. You should be able to see who flags a post just as you can see who likes it.... OR just do away with the feature all together...

I got flagged much earlier in this thread as well discussing my T22 and thoughts on Scotty vs Mizzy putters ??‍♂️??‍♂️ It’s ridiculous as clearly, there’s nothing wrong with your post above. Everyone is entitled to their own respectful opinion, which it was.

As a FYI... I called Mizuno today to get some additional specs on the head and grip weight and was told the head weight is the same for all lengths at 350ish grams and the grip is 85g. I weighed mine which is 33" with the stock 8 gram weights installed and it came out to 565g with a swingweight of a D0/1. HTH

Yes it is. It's the heaviest putter I have used to date. However, my initial results with it have been excellent. I knew I preferred a heavier putter but didn't realize I needed this much weight. Thankfully I gave it a chance because I really like it.

These are really nice. 

Oddly - off the rack - the Mizuno series seems 1/2 inch longer than the same standard as Cameron and Odyssey. 

E.G. - their 35 seems 35.5, their 34 seems 34.5.

At least on the eyeball test - flange line to flange line.

How’s the colour difference between the sight line and the putter on the white satin? The stock pics kind of make it look pretty similar.

The sight line has a white paint fill and is easy to see and use.

K thanks, I knew it was white paint fill I just was wondering if the contrast is enough? The stock pictures on the website have a ton of lighting.

So I noticed after playing a round yesterday that after installing the KBS CT Tour shaft, my model 3 has reverse toe hang and no longer face balanced. The toe hangs higher than the heel and switching weights ( even 3g in heel and 13g in toe) doesn’t seem to change. I noticed this after seemingly pulling a few putts. May have tinkered too far as this seems like I bad thing.

 

Anyone have experience with something like this?

Most likely because the the lie/loft/shaft bend is not identical to the stock setup.

Yeah I know the stock shaft offering has offset that also creates additional loft on the putter face. May see if I can bend mine to match, if not, may be best to go back to stock shaft offering.

When I installed the shaft too it totally changed the feel of the putter. Everything was off. Put both 13g in head and was still super light.... I traded it in to PGA store and used my playability to get another Bettinardi. Nothing against the Mizuno bc I loved it. I messed it up by putting a shaft in there.

I added a picture of mine above but pretty obvious that if you're looking for a face balanced putter, this ain't it!!! I still really like the putter and still putted great with it but definitely noticed some pulled putts which has never been my miss. I think I'll most likely stick with this putter once the face balancing issue is fixed.

Shaft definitely wasn't installed correctly. That's an offset putter shaft installed with no offset. Probably feels really weird and unbalanced during soling and stroke.

Edit- once shaft is pulled and installed correctly, it will be face balanced.

Yup, that's pretty much spot on with both the soling and stroke. Do you know if this shaft is suppose to be bent at some point because they installed the shaft how it was sent to me from the manufacturer. First time messing around with shafts on a face balanced putter, I guess I was expecting it to come ready to install but I suppose it could be different for every putter so they make them straight and allow them to be customized to the putter they're installed in?

It's ready to install as is, no bending needed. Just needs to be installed the way a double bend shaft is intended, that is with a full shaft offset. You may require some minor lie angle adjustment after proper install if you need slightly upright or flat by way of personal preference.

No it doesn't. I have a better picture posted previous in the thread that you can see that it's installed straight in and doesn't have any of that offset bend. I'm going to take it into the shop today and have them fix it.

Make sure the fix is to remove shaft, not to bend to make it work as it is currently installed. I'd find another shop actually, that's a straight up hack job.

I think I realized what happened now because when they installed it, it had a super flat lie angle and they bent it all the back to 70*. So as you said previously, they probably installed it incorrectly. FUN!
