My home course is littered with hazards so I find a lot of golf balls...though I stay away from ones in the water...I find a lot of ProV1x's, and I like the ball, so I play that.

I play anything I find on the course. When the pace is slow, and I'm wearing long pants, I forage the trees like a caveman. It doesn't slow down play, (since we are waiting on each shot anyway) and saves me some money! If I could, I would play ProV1x.

Bridgestone RX, perfect feel and effortless distance in the top end of my bag. Slightly less spin than a full-fledged tour ball, but definitely manageable when accustomed to it. Anyone who swings 105 or less could benefit from this ball genre, despite the constant crying over spin, spin, spin.... If you can't handle a few extra feet of rollout, then by all means, keep hitting your "tour" ball short(or offline due to overswinging) on long approaches.

Only possible exception would be ultra high speed greens, firm with a lot of bounce. Here, spin is a necessity, and I understand that. Stimp over 9/10 and firm.

M-G-S be damned, I love the Chrome Soft. I still have a dozen of the Stars and Stripes version so I haven't tried the 2020 version yet. But, with the old Chrome Soft being $29.99 online, I'm not sure I will be switching to the new version anytime soon.

I tried to align my ball for a short period a few years ago but found I spent too much time trying to get it right on line. Do you get it right faster now

Currently in a toss up between vice pro plus and TP5X. I like the drives and irons better with TP5X but I seem to putt better with the Vice ball. Trying to decide for the year has been difficult.
