It's been mentioned - and it's such a favourite of mine, I've reshafted it with a new Diamana ZF... two rounds with it and i've learnt my lesson not to forsake this perfect club ever again...

the one. the only.

Kasco K2K 44, it was one of the best clubs I ever played. Really don't know why I got rid of it. Could carry it 220 with the trajectory and control of an 8 iron.

"Cult Clubs" means clubs that aren't conventionally popular, but have a tremendous following outside of the golf mainstream? There was a local course that, between about '95 and '05, had a professional clubfitter on staff. The local course was something of a golf discounter, selling off-brands and clones at closeout prices. But, they made a business of it, utilizing their professional clubfitter to build each customer a semi-custom set of clones...he's gotta trim the shafts and assemble everything anyway, why not take some measurements for each customer and build 'em to the customer's liking? Anyway, that guy had an incredibly loyal following...my first real set of irons came from him, and that positive experience has honestly made a customer for life :)

Have to go with V-steel fairways - I still have a 15* in the bag, and 2 more as back-ups! Was thinking the new SIM fairways would kick it out but didn't see much of a difference.

Earlier this year I picked up slightly used 51* & 57* (2012 models) & played a few rounds with them until courses closed down recently. Still getting used to them, coming from RTX-3’s. Besides the horrible black painted steel shafts that peel & flake, I would say they will stay in my bag for the foreseeable future.

I play a B60 right now. It’s an old one so I put some lead tape on the bottom.

Titleist 906F2, I have both a 13.5 and a 15 degree with the same UST proforce V2 shaft. I love these FW woods. I switch out depending what stile course I am playing. The 13.5 is basically as long as my driver off a tee

I still have these - a 3 and 5 wood. I think I bought them late '90's. Occasionally take them out on the range for some nostalgia, shafts are too soft for me though.

Still look quite modern, they were one of the pioneers of low profile fairway woods, here's some text from various articles and promo info for those interested in the promo spiel from the time:

TRIMETAL, like the name suggests, comprises of 3 distinct metals. High-strength S450 stainless steel, the precision-cast sole is constructed of 17-4 stainless steel, while the 10-gram tungsten screw is positioned strategically for pinpoint accuracy. Conforms to the Rules of Golf.

This gives them unique weighting properties that (according to the Company) make them easy to hit and produce a desired boring trajectory, added distance and pinpoint accuracy.

The Apha-Maraging metal face (specially heat-treated with a high composition of nickel and chromium) is 85% harder than pure titanium and more than twice as strong. This allows the club to be significantly lighter while retaining its strength. The weight that is removed from the face is then redistributed throughout the clubhead to make the TRIMETAL easier to hit and more accurate.

There are strategically placed copper-tungsten weights in the soleplate to produce a low center of gravity.

The head is low profile and this combined with the unique sole construction is designed to extract the ball effortlessly from the tightest of lies.

The Orlimar brand has built a reputation in the golf industry as an innovative, high performance, premium golf club brand. Some credit Orlimar with starting the golf club market movement to the “thin-faced” club head design.

Orlimar, and its chief designer Ortiz, claim to have 'revolutionized' golf club design by introducing these TRIMETAL clubs.
