All Hamilton county courses are closed. That’s the only one that has officially closed that I know of. I keep hoping nothing else closes by the time the rain stops.

My local municipal course in Vandalia, Cassel Hills, is still open. Can't hang out in the clubhouse other than to pay and only one person per golf cart.

the 6 City of Columbus municipal courses are closed. Otherwise, all others in the area seemed to be open, some with restrictions. For example, I got an email today that Blacklick is open 7a-4p, golf shop is closed, walking only, no fees and no tee times.

Brookside Columbus is open to walking only. Proshop and all other club amenities are closed. Pool noodles have been placed around the flagstick in the cup so balls won't go down in the cup and you can't stick your hand down in the cup.

in Columbus city owned courses are closed but most are still open. Again can’t hangout in clubhouse. Don’t pull flagsticks, social distancing. As much rain as central Ohio had Thursday/Friday most of our courses were closed today,, but are opening Sunday 3-22. We still have standing water in a lot of areas

Welp, anyone got a place that is open in the Tri-State area/Cinci? Stonelick shutdown tonight. No where else that I know of is open. I think they got shutdown by the state or some jackwad complaining even though they did everything possible to keep their "social distancing" and restrictions in place.

I think it's the opposite. I'm already seeing emails of courses around me closing for play today. County Boards of Health will shut things down in a hurry. Everyone will close now.

Virtually every course I’m on a mailing list around columbus has sent emails today saying they are required to close until at least April 6th.

They jumped the gun. The governor clarified and said it is up to each county to allow or close courses. If they are meeting the requirements for social distancing and the clubhouses are closed. Toledo courses are open I just talked to the superintendent where we play out leagues

Franklin and Delaware DOH say golf courses should not operate.

I hope this is the last change in the “orders” and we are all allowed to play some golf.

 

If done properly golf can adhere to social distancing and we need something to get out!!!

Update - Courses can open again, but may be a few days before local health departments give their local courses the go-ahead. Ohio golf courses can remain open after state reverses decision

I admire your great state of Ohio. as a michigander who spends alot of time in your state it drives me crazy the diffrence a st line can make. from our crazy no fault insurance policy,to our roads,the way your hunting lands are managed. sure leaves alot to be desired.

Im probably done for the year. Staring at Back surgery. Had 1 steriod injection already. Felt good for 2 weeks. 2nd one cancelled, thx covid19. Now I cant move without help lol. Fml

My back is a wreck too but have been putting off the inevitable surgery as long as possible. Feeling like I've been hit with a baseball bat in the lumbar after every round is demoralizing. Hope you feel better.

That’s exactly how I feel after a round. I stopped playing for a number of years because of my back. Now I have tennis elbow also so looks like Wimbledon is out this year as well...

Anyone in the Columbus area do any club repair/building? I have some potential work I need done and with everything closed I don’t have the resources
