I like that a lot. How are you getting the color on that, is it some type of chemical like gun bluing?

A torch. The divot tools are stainless steel. Torched titanium can be even more stunning. Can anodize the putter or parts of the putter a ton of colors.

Thanks! I wouldn't have a clue about that, or where such things are even sourced. No discussion of price, just curious. I remember reading how the US army had to source some exotic metals for the SR-71 Blackbird, and I thought it was titanium that they had to get from Russia through 'undisclosed channels'. Perhaps I am remembering wrong....

Man, don't give up your sources. Every Tom, Dick, and Tyson will be copying you! 😂

Sorry for lack of updates. Been swamped with my day job. Hoping to find some time this weekend to do some testing on SAM and try and capture some video to show sound compared to other putters.

Did get an exotic leather grip that is close to matching Timascus colors hard to capture actual color. Think I’m going to anodize some of the necks different colors to show what’s possible from a customization stand point

Beautiful work! I take it the weights are simply held in by the face? I saw a couple of tapped opening on the face side of the weight, but none in the face itself. Just curious. Would be cool to know the MOI if you test it.

    Nice design!

Weights are epoxied in once weight is set. For putter fittings they will just be friction fit so it can be adjusted. But final assembly a little epoxy will ensure there is no movement. The tapped part of weights are to hold piece during milling.

Im also adding a set screw into the production design that will pull hosel into head and create a pressure fit. Final assembly will be with epoxy as well so there will be both a mechanical hold and epoxy. Allows me to quickly swap hosels during a fitting while also ensuring zero issues with production versions.

Feel is very subjective but I’m extremely happy with how it feels. Softer than stainless and a bit quieter. Closest way I could put into words is like persimmon wood, solid but quiet/softer feel. Super stable on mishits, had two tour players and one of my top college players test it today and both loved how it felt on solid putts and misshits. Will be doing some more testing just to get feedback from as many sources as possible including our entire junior program but I think I can pretty much start making them with no other changes except hosel.

I took some comparison photos with the putter I’ve been using for years

Added some quick paintfill to putter that matches grip. Makes logo standout better

Sound is hard to capture but here is a comparison of sound between carbon NP2 and titanium putter.

How new hosel will work which allows me to not design a completely separate putter for fitting system.

Thanks. Planning on doing a first run of 10 or so I have a full fitting setup at my place and will make the first 10 engraved showing they are first 10 so that they are somewhat special. Waiting to hear back from suppliers to see what lead time is for materials

Since I have more time on my hands than expected I have been working on getting some covers designed and ordered. Will have a couple different color options and be magnetic closure.

Made some slight changes to soften some of the lines. And finalized changes to hosel. Going to do a run of 5-10 that I’m hoping will be done in 2-3 weeks. Excited to get the final version put into production

The other area that might need some

    “softening” is the toe.

The Cameron is a bit easier on the eyes

I think you’re seeing things with the reflection off the titanium putter. I like the toe exactly how it is. Everyone has their own opinion
