I guess you would agree that Shaquille O'Neal was poor when he said he cannot afford to feed his family? I know of people who earn over $100K a year live paycheck to paycheck. It is all about lifestyle. Is it not interesting that even in these times big earners are asking for assistance? Do not let the flash golfers fool you, some may look the part but barely scraping by. If you lose your job tommorow and cannot pay your mortgage for 2 years, in my books you are living paycheck to paycheck

I might get the $hit and die, so why not spend that extra discretionary income and enjoy it while I can...bring on the golf discounts, all of them.

I can’t fault manufacturers who don’t follow PXG’s lead. I would think PXG has a bigger margin to begin with. But I also don’t think a large number of people are going to be buying lots of brand new clubs before summer. I can see the used market being active in this economy, with sellers needing to raise cash and golfers grabbing great deals. Some of the preowned sites could do well. Keep your distance everyone and stay healthy.

I have the Gen 2 irons and took advantage of the discount to upgrade to the Gen 3 in the same specs.

I had briefly hit the Gen 3 and thought they were good and they are definitely hot off of the face.

Can you call and request a build with different shafts than they have as options on the website? Or does the discounted pro living only apply to web orders?

I called them last week. Lots of other shaft options available. Some could be an up charge.

That is an epic post. Totally agree with you. This is getting out of hand. Ohio closes golf courses. Seriously it is safe to golf than go my local Costco or packed park. Going the dictatorship way!

Got my Gen 3 Ts in the mail today! The heads are definitely compact - slightly smaller than my Miura 1008s - larger than my Miura Baby Blades. More forgiving than either, though not by a ton.

Performance is extremely similar to the 1008. Around 500 rpm less spin and 0.5 degrees lower launch (though they're PX 6.0 vs Oban CT-115). About 3 yards extra carry. Same lofts.

Feel is pretty close as well.

Overall, I'm pretty shocked how similarly these two irons perform for me. There was probably no need to "upgrade", but I wanted a little technology and forgiveness, and I feel like I got that.

I also hate money - so there's that.

Just checked the website today and all PXG X and XF Gen 2 drivers are now $295 thru May 1.

I ordered a set of Gen3's for my son with several special requests (mixed set, altered lofts, different lie angles, length changes, etc....) last Monday. I had a shipping notice by Saturday morning. Someone's working there.

Wow. $300 off driver. It seems pxg is liquidating the gen 2 woods line. Could there be a gen 3 woods hitting the market soon? When are the putters dropping in price?

Their turnaround is pretty quick right now as live fittings have stopped. I put an order in 2 weeks ago and I had it within 6 days with ground shipping from AZ to FL.
