Re-watched the entire series of King of Queens, doing the same with trailer park boys right now, some Seinfeld and Office also.

Already did season 3 of Ozarks, great show.

I watched the ticker trailer on Netflix and my god whoever produced that show should be put on a Hollywood blacklist a la Joe McCarthy and the 1950s.

Currently watching The Outsider which is a HBO series along with season three of Westworld. Up next is Ozark as I have yet to start it and rewatching Star Wars Clone Wars with my kid.

Watched 2 and a half men until Charlie was canned. Not sure why they thought it could go on after that as it was horrible with Kutcher. He is not a good actor.

 

Watched the 2 seasons of Narcos Mexico. I enjoyed it.

No, chronological. That seems like an interesting order though. I'll definitely do that on that on the next rewatch to trim some fat.

I have been debating on machete order or release order for when my son is old enough. I grew up with ANH, Empire and Jedi. Both those options don’t lose the surprise in Empire.

I didn’t mind Sith, can tolerate Phantom Menace and turn the channel on Attack of the Clones unless they are on Geonosis. I liked Awakens and Rise. Last Jedi was disappointing. I think Solo came out at a bad time and got blowback from VIII. Rogue One was the best movie since Empire imo.

Westworld lost me. I Loved the first season- so many great philosophical questions raised. It was a great story and premise I could enjoy. Great acting and characters. All praise goes to the man in black (Ed Harris).

 

Second season,.....sorta ok. meh.

 

Third season, haven't given it a chance. Is it worthwhile?

Rogue One was fantastic. Empire Strikes Back will always default as my favorite in the series, but outside of the original trilogy Rogue One takes it.

I am on the same page, first season cool, second season ok,

 

But this season is cool. Is total departure, new world, lots of new characters, and the big picture becoming clearer.

 

And Dolores is on the rampage and total smoke show ; )

It sounds like I need to reset my expectations, and just watch the new season fresh. It sounds as if I kind of need to reset expectations regarding what has happened in past episodes.....? The past drama doesn't have much of an effect on the current situation. Correct?

I’m not a racing fan at all, but really enjoyed Drive to Survive on Netflix. Exceptionally well produced. Would love to see a golf equivalent from the same group.

Started the original Star Trek on netflix. I watched the show in syndication back in the 80s, but I was never a full on geek about it. I say this because I had NO IDEA that in the pilot episode there was basically ONE person who ended up in the Main cast.

By Episode 2, that had changed.

Yes, and you can just pick it up without having to be up to speed with the prior seasons.

 

Of course the prior seasons are a foundation, but the new season is 80% new characters, new world, and leading to what’s really going on
