Seamus Golf shutting down to produce masks

I just received an email that Seamus Golf is shutting down head cover production to work on making masks for health professionals and first responders. Provided free of charge, obviously while supplies last and what production will allow. What an awesome gesture - I've never owned a Seamus product, but I plan on purchasing a head cover from them when this is over because of this. I hope some others consider it as well.

Their products are top notch as well as their Customer service. When I got the email about them making this effort I was not surprised at all. Great company and great people.

Does anyone who ordered before the shutdown know if they are delaying those orders? Don't mind if there is a delay, but wondering if anyone had already asked.

I'm curious too. I put in an order for 2 headcovers before the shutdown, but can obviously wait as they focus on more important things.

I had emailed them several days ago to ask this very question and this was their response:

"Thank you for your email regarding your order. We are continuing to produce and fulfill orders that have already been placed on our website. Our production timeline is currently 10-14 business days and you will receive a separate email with tracking information once your order ships out. If any of this should change as we move forward with our mask production, we will update you with that information. Please feel free to reach out with any questions in the meantime and we appreciate your continued support!"

Has anyone had any issues with customer service responses? Tracking info was sent showing my full order shipped, but I only received one of the pieces, and I have not received a response to multiple messages over the last few days.

I've been trying to reach them for a putter cover repair that I sent in last month. I was receiving steady email communication about it but haven't received any response in about a week. I tried following up a few times but no dice.. I might try giving them a call tomorrow.

Update from Seamus Golf.

Mask Contributions on Hold

 

Our full production team shifted to mask production today.

 

A Bag Shop in Portland furloughed all of their employees, and with the success of the Contribution Drive, we have not only retained all of our production employees, but effectively will double our staff in response to the need for masks by sending work their way.

 

Thank you for supporting us from the beginning. And thank you for supporting our most recent adventure.

 

When we entered into accepting contributions, we made assumptions holding the requests for frontline at what they were, which was about 5,000 masks that needed to be distributed immediately. That number has since grown, and thus we are making the following changes to accommodate the need, aside from placing mask contributions on hold.

1.) We are estimating an extended production time of one month on all made to order golf products at this time.

2.) Some orders placed with the 30% off discount are still in a pending state. Those orders are now on the same production schedule, and will be the first to ship when we get to making golf products.

3.) 100% refunds will be processed for any customer who has placed an order and wants to cancel, with no questions asked. Please email [email protected] - on time shipments are very important to us and we are very sorry for this delay.

 

For customers awaiting their masks, we are sending frontline masks this week and next, and expect to begin shipping to supporters after that. If you are in an affected area and need the mask sooner, or are concerned in any way, please emails us at [email protected]. We will do what we can, which is our best.
