Titleist COVID Delays?

Is anyone seeing delays on orders from Titleist ... specifically the T100s' and custom SM8's?

I think a lot of things in the golf industry and any other industry will be delayed by this pandemic. We all gotta be patient or not buy club this year, whichever sounds more sane. ??

I was told yesterday I could not make a new order until at least april 15th.

I placed an order for T100's last Friday and it shipped supposed to get to me on Monday.

Ordered custom SM8 on 3/2/20 with quoted 10 working day lead time, called yesterday and they said they are hoping to fill my order by end of April. I understand the delay, but they should have been completed before any major shut downs given the 10 working day lead time. Oh well, can't golf right now anyways.

This will also impact all the fall 2020 launch’s as well since all the club producing foundries has been shut down for over a month. Big delays will happen.

Ordered 4 custom SM8's and received an email from titleist saying that since the manufacturing plants are shut down they don't know when they'll be shipped out but they are going to upgrade the shipping to overnight as soon as they are able to be shipped.

Ordered a t-300 4 iron to go with my t-200’s not holding my breath I will get it anytime soon. Just part of the deal I guess no point in stressing or getting angry about it

Any updates on the delays? I just pulled the trigger on a set of T100s' Saturday through Carl's. Didnt really think about Titleist being shut down totally. Carl's mentioned it takes longer since it was a custom order but no mention of significant delays due to the manufacturer being shut down. I get it and it is what it is, just wondering if there had been any updates or if anyone had received their orders?

I got a email from my club last week saying that balls are 8-10 weeks at the earliest. i did the buy 3 get 1 custom.

Our pro said 3-4 weeks for the buy 3, get 1 deal... 8-10 weeks if you did any sort of personalization. Who knows!

I thought the buy 3 get 1 deal requires personalization though?

Our club didn't require personalization for the deal and gave us several options. Looks like you can take advantage of the deal at most online stores if you are looking to get the buy 3 get 1 deal.

 

edit: after checking, it does not appear the standard balls are available at most retailers, without selecting personalization and leaving the personalized lines blank..

Any updates on when Titleist might be opening back up? I believe California is starting to open manufacturing but the last update on Titleist's website is from March 24th. Hard to believe they haven't posted an update since then.

I am wondering the same thing. I am about to cancel my T100s and either just stay with my own clubs or switch to a different manufacturer. I am disappointed in Titleist for not providing any updates. I get that they don’t know an exact date. But, they could have provided some communication regarding custom orders. Their customer service people are still working.

This is a difficult and uncharted time for all. This is what I was sent by the company I purchased from. I guess there are worse things in life these days.

Titleist is still closed, they are still in the stages of figuring out how to run the production floor and get everything sanitized. My guess is they will open on a limited basis in the next 1-2 weeks.

No doubt these are uncharted times and golf clubs Being delayed are a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. But not having any updates in a month and a half is crazy. From what I understand California is opening manufacturing back up and San Diego County has not extended the Stay At Home order like some counties have- so in theory they could be opening soon. Would just be nice to get an updated status even if it’s saying they aren’t opening at this time.

I ordered a custom 50, 54, and 60 back in February and they were built before the shutdown but couldn’t be shipped out. I got them last Monday. I ordered a matching 46 2 weeks later and it never got started before shutdown. I just got a notice that it will be here tomorrow. So definitely good news on that front.

I just heard from Discount Dan's:

"Yep! They've reopened with limited staff and have started working through pending orders. Based on when you place your order I anticipate shipment some time late next week. We'll email tracking info as soon as we have it."

I placed my order on April 28th for a custom SM8 wedge so it looks like it a total of 3 to 4 weeks, but orders are starting to move.
